Songs for my mp3 player

I like to come on to the site to get positive ideas to help me cope with the day to day stresses. Even though I repond to people's concerns, I like to have fun too. I like to forget my boss, my bills, etc etc. I bought an mp3 player. I'd like to know who listens to tunes to help them "get away" for a while. What tunes to you listen to ? What tunes are on your mp3 or iPod or in the car (or truck)? Music really helps me through some tough times. I can get scolded at work (3 times today.....all 3 of which weren't my fault) and get a tune in my head and I'm good to go. Anyone else do the same thing ?

Oh yeah.

I listen to everything. All kinds of music. It deffinitely takes my mind off problems.

Maybe we should post some of our songs. You may have something interesting on your mp3.LOL

....oh, and my ipod has a variety of genres....

...from rock, hip hop, reggae, oldies, broadway to rap (mostly old-school), country, r&b and alternative........

I like all kinds of tunes. A song can bring me back to a time in my life where I felt free.
I listen to all types. Stuff from the really early 80's when I used to go to the record store to buy the latest 45's. I still play the 45's once in a while. I hooked my turntable back up. I guess record albums are making a comeback. I went to a record store and saw some new ones that bands today are putting out in limited quantities. One song the really puts me in a good mood is Ordinary Day by Great Big Sea. That's a positive song. Believe It Or Not (The Theme to the Greatest American Hero) still puts a smile on my face when I here it.........believe it or not, it's just meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee LOL

"it's a beautiful morning" by the Rascals always puts me in a good mood.

"philadelphia freedom" by Elton John makes me want to dance.

I LOVE MUSIC!!! LOL

I love the oldies and the new stuff.
