Nope. No calls, or emails.
Believe me, brother, I have no problem starting 10/18. Who knows? With their Mickey Mouse background check company, I may start in the middle of this upcoming week.

Hey Charlie! You actually HAVE a job getting a job! I used to be on the board of a place that hired preschool teachers and we got a background check on them in one day and hired them the next day! I'm wondering if New York is more backwards than Georgia, is that possible!?!

Well, I know that when I visit family out in the country, I completely relax. However, once a "city guy" always a "city guy". There's some kind of strange safety when my neighbour sneezes in their house next door, and without moving from my seat in my house, I yell "Bless you !" and then they say (without leaving their seat in their house) "thank you". It lets me know that my nice neighbours are close by. Plus, I can walk a few blocks to the corner store and get bread and milk ! Now, mind you, the city does have disadvantages like higher taxes etc, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. The sounds of trains and ambulances and police cars in the middle of the night are actually soothing to me ! LOL
Chuck ! .....are you relaxing today ?????

Re: NY and GA--anything is possible. I envy that turnaround time. NY is probably more backwards than GA that scientists haven't discovered the amount yet.

The weather here Fri-Sun was absolutely gorgeous. My weekend was VERY relaxing. We were home. My wife was on the computer alot. I fed the cats next to my building, and was in sports heaven as I watched all my teams (NY Rangers, Yankees, and Giants) win! Enjoyed alot of TV.
Most strenuous activity: switching back and forth between the Rangers and Yankee games.

I just got a call from the HR guy. I start at “my” either this Wednesday or next Monday--depending when the paper work with the background check company gets completed!!! Either way, I am soon to be employed and back in sales!!!
At this very moment, I am in a little shock--but it's a good kind of shock. Yesterday was exactly fifteen months to my last day at my old job.
I am stunned. It's just about over.

I agree with THH ! You didn't actually dream that call did you, Chuck ???? It almost seems impossible that they called you !
