YES!!!! You've got exactly right about this being a jobOriginally posted by can'tdanceandcan'trelax:
Hey Charlie! You actually HAVE a job getting a job! I used to be on the board of a place that hired preschool teachers and we got a background check on them in one day and hired them the next day! I'm wondering if New York is more backwards than Georgia, is that possible!?!
Thanks so much, and good tune!!Originally posted by Mrs T Bones:
can'tdanceandcan'trelax, That sure sounds like what has been going on in our dear friend (Charlie's) life!!! lolololol..That is waaay too funny for me!!!
I think Charlie just needs to get away from the "rat" race of city life!!! It sounds much too "complex" and "stressful" to me!?!?!!
Of course, I would say that because I was born and raised in the big hills of KY!!!
So, Charlie Brown, here is a song for you!!! If you can't get away from the city life, then I think you need to take a "vacation" in your mind!!! Because your brain sure has been "working" waaay too hard, even if you haven't...lolololol
Take a deep breath, sit back and relax and enjoy this break from the "rat" race!!! Teeee HEEE!!!
Enjoy Charlie Brown... Heading for the hills!!!
I pray that you are much more peaceful now, my dear friend!!! Have a peaceful night's sleep![]()
The weather here Fri-Sun was absolutely gorgeous. My weekend was VERY relaxing. We were home. My wife was on the computer alot. I fed the cats next to my building, and was in sports heaven as I watched all my teams (NY Rangers, Yankees, and Giants) win! Enjoyed alot of TV.Originally posted by manofmusic:
Well, I know that when I visit family out in the country, I completely relax. However, once a "city guy" always a "city guy". There's some kind of strange safety when my neighbour sneezes in their house next door, and without moving from my seat in my house, I yell "Bless you !" and then they say (without leaving their seat in their house) "thank you". It lets me know that my nice neighbours are close by. Plus, I can walk a few blocks to the corner store and get bread and milk ! Now, mind you, the city does have disadvantages like higher taxes etc, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. The sounds of trains and ambulances and police cars in the middle of the night are actually soothing to me ! LOL
Chuck ! .....are you relaxing today ?????
