Your online name is so cool ....."keepsmilin", that is a great idea

. I just used my REAL first name

.
The more I work on Session Six the more I realize that I do have issues with irritation and anger when I
am around my mother. I think that is where Session Six will come in handy for me, with all that un-needed stress
I have when I am visiting with my mom.

. Am I still considered new to the program if I am on Session Six,
probably not

.
Take Care,
Lynda Lu

Thanks! I figure it's a good name to have...to remind myself and others to keep smiling!
I don't know if we're new to the program now...but that's ok. We're learning something aaalll the time...so I think we're all new!
I am glad you are learning about irritation and anger. I learned something about my anger and irritation, but I still didn't find I had many episodes.
I notice (and I'm in Session 7, and just reviewed Session 4) that I am learning from past sessions through the sessions I am doing in the now- all sessions are somehow connected.. And if I review, I learn something again, too. Whether it's a lesson JUST from one session, or participating/practising and learning/ knowing that I am collaborating lessons from diff. sessions....I am learning a ton and I am liking it! I hope this goes for you, too.
I am finding it hard to "be." I am feeling lost as to how to react and think and feel...I'm on overdrive. I have come to the conclusion that I need to focus on the session I am on and then keep moving forward. It's good to maybe review, too (and the session's "put to practise" say it's an option to get in the right mode), but I won't let myself get confused too much. I know being confused and having questions and "feeling it all out" is all a part of learning sometimes.
Have you felt lost and sort of...learning how to live again? I hear it's totally normal!
Thanks, Lynda, and I like that you used your real name

This is exactly the way I have been feeling for the past three years......" lost and sort of learning how to live again".
Stay strong and I will too !

Thanks, LyndaLu!!

Staying strong
Welcome, SherryC! This program works. My advice would be to focus on each session and put all you got into this program. You get what you put in and what you practise. Don't obsess or overdue it, because that can have a negative effect and obviously not help you. Don't take on too much. But definitely pour your heart and soul into this. As far as online goes, just fool around on here and start chatting with people and reading posts and replying to them. I wish you the best!

FROM SESSION TEN.............
I am a good problem solver. I am confident in my ability to make decisions.
There is no problem that I can't conquer. My strength is greater than any problem
I might be faced with. Problems are opportunities to grow.

Welcome Sherry:
This program really does work, if you put the work into it

. I am working on Session Seven and I am learning a lot.
What helps me while I am working on the program is thinking about my accomplishments or achievements, no matter
how small. When you are in a down mood, this really helps. We forget to focus on the postive

.
As far as writing online, you can get on to any topic and just start writing. If you go into "view your posts"
you can see where you have posted previously and you can continue on with your conversation(s).
Good Luck and Stay Strong

.
