Xanax question

I've been on xanax now for 3 years. Along with clonazapam (klonopin), lexapro and mertazapine. My panic attacks are still horrible. Drugs don't work. Hoping this program does...I'm reading with great anticipation that it just may be what I need!

If that is the case, that's a rather low dose in comparison...right?

yes thats correct 1.5 mg some people with bad PA can take4-6-mg daily so you are on the lower end but still need tp taper coming off...is thiis amount working for you?

This is just a suggestion instead of taking the whole or 1/2 the pill just take a quarter of it. This is what I take and it calms me right down. I don't like taking these types of medications because I don't like the feeling it gives me but the Xanax seems to work for me.

I have been taking Xanax for 10 years, .25 a half a pill twice a day. I found it has definitely helped me in a panic situation. I heard it is addictive. I will not take a higher doseage and I don't feel weird or tired from taking it. I do not promote taking drugs as the only answer to my anxiety. However, I have just started this program and one of my goals is to get off of it altogether.
