Thank you soo much !! I know KY got alot of that rain too . I can relate to what you said about being afraid about what was about to happen . When we were evacuated it was 4:30 am and I had been up all night worring about it . It had already flooded the backyard (which wasn't unusual after a few days of rain) but this rain came down in just a few hours . Then while we were leaving it was storming , hail the size of golfballs and the tornado siren in town was going off . I think it happened so fast I didnt even have a chance to panic.But believe me I learned this the hard way you can get through anything .God never gives you more than you can handleOriginally posted by forever young 06:
oh nfljennie, you had such a beautiful house so sorry. I live in ky and we got a lot of rain that weekend we have a pump in our basement that didn't want to work we finally got it going we had just a little water coming in our basement so it didn't get bad but I was getting very afraid that we couldn't get the pump going what if the electricity went off on and on I was still nervous the next day I live on a small creek and it just gets up in the yard and that day it had gotten big three times but would go down when the rain slowed down but just saying I can relate but mine was very small and you being agrophobic wow I have been there too I am on my way out but have a way to go I greatly admire your courage and what you have been thru so glad you have made it thru newrunner you are a terffic person there are so many kind and encouraging people on her cheers to all
