I can have often thought it would be so nice to be able to do anything I wanted without having to deal with the anxiety. Maybe you could keep walking when your husband is home until it becomes more comfortable or try going for very short walks when he is not home, take a cell phone with you if that helps. You did great this week.

Nana of 4....I suffered from agoraphobia, lived in a constant state of panic, accompanied by depression for 21 years of my life!!!
I took the program, faced my fears head on...Rode out those panic attacks and they subsided!!!
I am sooo proud of your accomplishments, and you should be too...I know exactly how you feel because I have been there and done that!!!
Wishing you the very best!!! God Bless!!!
BTW...If you will read my postings, then, you will understand that I had made myself a prisoner in my own home, also!!!

Nana..........start with baby steps, your children didn't start out walking a mile, start small and celebrate, then a little more.......9 miles one way can feel like a long ways.......if you want to try riding in the car, start out going around the block.......I have learned that I need to push myself past what is comfortable yet not over do.......I will share my story with you after the weekend.

Thanks Tofte, I see that you are right about baby steps. I am going for a short ride this morning, not far but I am going to get out every day. Even if only down the block.

I made it!I went riding and only had anxiety not panic and i floated through it.

Later I am going to go for a walk. I am going to use this positive experience to block the negative.
yippee!
