cadl4, to post a new topic, go to the top of the thread to the top of the first message, and then go to the blue tabs across the top of that. Click on "New," then click on "Discussion" from the drop-down menu. Hope this helps!

Hi Lisa,
Yes when I started the program I had a extreme difficulty with reading, especially the workbook. Even now I don't read for pleasure yet as much as I would like too. Even though it is advisable to read the book with the program, for the first few weeks I listened to the relaxation cd and did the excercise, watched the intro DVD's and listened to the first couple of sessions. Once I started to pick up a few techniques and practiced the relaxation a bit, I started into the workbook slowly at times when I felt a bit more relaxed, even if it was just 5 to 10mins at a time. You could try it if you like!

Just wanted to say thanks for the nice compliment you gave me on the Book Section post months ago. I didn't go back on it, so didn't see it for months.
BTW, I think your posts are pretty cool and informative too.
Take care.

I have been online alday reading and rereading allkinds of input for fear I won't get it, so yes I understand.I haven't received my dvds yetand am desperatefor relief from the tense feeling in my gut and the twitching nervous feeling I always feel.
I did this in nursing school though and it did work because I did graduate. I just want so bad to be the best I can be for the sake of those I take care of.

Miss river hopefully you have received your dvd's and are reaping the benefits by now. The TEA form exercise from CBT has been extremely helpful for me in overcoming my fears and getting back into my life again and being the best self I can be

I always have trouble staying focused. Its even harder for me because I am currently working on writing a book. Writing is something that I enjoy but sometimes I tend to overanalyze and I always seem to get stuck. To combat that I write and read in small spurts. That seems to help some.
