Somedays You Gotta Dance - Dixie Chicks - it's just got a GREAT sound and is so upbeat!

My Next 30 Years - Tim McGraw

Almost anything by Janet Jackson in the 80's - cuz I loved dancing to her 80's stuff.

I'm sure I'll add more in a bit.

Loved reading all the others. Hope everyone is having a happy day!

Music can make so much difference for me!

Oh yes - and totally could get my mood changed with "Roll Out the Barrel"!, Barb.

And some upbeat Bluegrass is pretty cool too!

Well, some of you weren't born when my favorite uplifting music was big, but here goes:
Hotel California - the whole album, the Eagles
Tupelo Honey, Van Morrison
Forgiveness, Don Henley
Peace Train, Cat Stevens
And anything by Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, just because.
P.S. Best song ever, it was one of my mother's favorites: What a Wonderful World, Louie Armstrong, circa?

I am going to bump this post back to the top because of the lyrics to this song (you've gotta say, it's one of the best songs ever):

WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD
Vocals: Louis Armstrong

(George Weiss / Bob Thiele)

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

The colours of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands, sayin' "How do you do?"
They're really saying "I love you"

I hear babies cryin', I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world

Oh yeah

I'm Yours - Jason Mraz. I'm loving this song right now. Just makes me move and smile.

Pince Me - Barenaked Ladies. Have always loved this song. Especially the line "take a drink right from the hose" cuz it instantly takes me back to my childhood summers of drinking that metalic tasting water right from the hose.

If I Had a Million Dollars - Barenaked Ladies. I just love how goofy this song is.
