face & lips numb & tingly

I've learned from experience that when you get "numb/tingly" it's because you're hyperventilating (and possibly don't even realize it) and drop CO2 in your blood, your central nervous system begins to "freak out". I've gone through periods of being numb on all of my arms, legs, and face for days in a row, and my doctor said it isn't harmful to your health. It's just unbearlingly annoying.
