Strange to hear this from all of you cause way back i had a severe case of vertigo..im talking straight months of laying in bed. I never knew it was linked to deppression or aniexty..it figures now cause at that point in time I think I was at my worst. I have gotten over it but do get sudden "drunk spells" Like someone mentioned..No one ever believes me when i say i say i swear i feel drunk without having had a drink! Usually only happens to me when i stay up really late and the whole ear problems yes that too! A while back i felt like i could get no relief from them. Like bugs were scratching the crap out of my inner ear! I went to a specialist and nothing..all in my head issue again. Wow, i have really learned alot having signed up to this program. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you all for your response. I did go back to the ENT today and he said that maybe the EPLY manuever didn't work and I shopuld try it again. I dread that because it takes about 3 minutes of straight vertigo, it feels like an hour. my heat is beating just thinking about it. He also said that the anxiety can cause these little crystals in my ears to move when stressed. Any way thank you all for helping

Vertigo runs in my family too. I have had boughts of it, not caused by anxiety. Most often it is caused by an inner ear distrubance, antivert meds really helped me. See an ENT specialist.
