Three and a half hours in and we are still waiting. No news yet. This has to be the hardest thing I've ever done. Mom's doing as well as can be expected and more of their friends have come to the hospital over the past hour. I'm outside, tied into the network, and doing the same thing....waiting.

David, You are in my prayers. I went through this 6 months ago with my mom (twice in 1 month) and I know what you are going through. Stay strong.

Still praying for you cowboy hoping all is going well, I know it is so hard to wait and then more waiting I understand as you know with my own Dad. I will continue my prayers and my thoughts are with you sending positive vibes your way. You are a strong man and have weathered alot lately but still manage as I have read and know personally to help others in need all the time. Keep having faith my friend and we are all praying for you and your Dad and family.
God bless you

First off thank you all for the thoughts and prayers today, myself and my family appreciate it.
Dad is out of surgery and has been moved to the critical coronary care unit where he will remain until he's stable. He has had a quad bypass today as well as the pacemaker put in but as of an hour ago he was doing well. This process took almost 7.5 hrs today and it was a long one.
I, myself, am exhausted as well as mom and all that were with us today. I'm going to eat, take a walk on the beach, then go from there.
I will tell you all this though, the anxiety stayed away until about the last hour today then I started getting a little jittery but nothing like I would have in the past...and most of that was from the waiting I'm sure.
Anyway, again thank you, would appreciate if you kept dad in your prayers for a few more days to help get him overcome all of this and hopefully all the doctors did today will work right.
for now it's hour by hour...insead of minute by minute as it was earlier today.

Great news so far David and thank you for the update. I know what you are going through and my thoughts and prayers are with you hon. A bite to eat and a walk on the beach sounds like a great idea. I will continue prayers for your dad and your family. Thank you for keeping us updated I know that is the last thing you probably feel like doing. You are so strong and doing a wonderful job holding up wow you are an amazing man and son. Take care and God will be with all of you.
Love Mimi
