Searching4Answers, you might be interested in picking up two books by Masaru Emoto. One is called "The Hidden Messages in Water" and the other is "The True Power of Water". I think this is the researcher you are talking about.

Was the program "What the Bleep Do We Know?" by any chance? I have it on DVD and watch it periodically as a "refresher". Cool stuff.

They did this in Ghostbusters II. They'd curse out the slime specimin vs. playing it romantic music, to see how it reacted in the lab.. heh..

I think the program was called "What the bleep do we know?" It sounds familar. I do remember an attractive, deaf actress played in it. I am going to order the two books on amazon, they sound interesting. I really like the positive real life story of success, it gave me hope. Also I'll try talking nice to my plants (I usually end up killing them!)
