I'm not on anything else so we'll see how it goes. The Melatonin didn't help me last night but I only took 1/2 and I was sort of afraid to take it. . . so that kept me awake. Ironic huh? LOL

I'm going to try taking a whole one tonight.

Something most books or doc's will not tell you or even know is that if you take Melatonin that your body will stop producing it even if it does slow in production as we get older.

OK so are you saying it's a bad idea? She suggested I just use it for a time until I get back on track then I can stop.

Short term is fine, but as per James F.Balch,MD and Mark Stengler,ND ,"Book Prescription for natural healing". some studies indicate that more than occasional use can permanently stop the bodies production of the hormone melatonin.Didn't mean to frighten you just make you aware,I should have been more clear ,sorry,Some people use it long term basis without knowing, hope this helps !!!!

Hopefully. Also I'm thinking I need to see if my hubby would be willing to stop having the TV on all night. It's starting to really get on my nerves.
