I take 10mg of Lexapro and it decreases mine too. But I can orgasm on it and do enjoy sex once it is started, so I guess it could be worse, I didnt have much of one before either.

I have been on many different anti-anxiety/depression meds over the years and I found that Celexa was the worst with sexual side-effects. It ruined my libido!

does your libido come back once your off the meds?

I used Wellbutrin and know that it did not affect my libido.

I heard fron my pdoc that wellbutrin is the only anti depressant withouth the sexual side effects. the only problem with it, she told me is that it may increase anxiety. I told her no thanks, i'll just stick to what I'm on!!!

BTW, your libido does return after getting off the SSRI's. but not immedietly.

I just spoke with my Dr. and she is swiching me to wellbutrin. I'll let you know how it goes.
