Hello, I am new and was wondering if anyone else experiences frequent yawning? Some days it is all day long and at other times I won't have it at all. I am on .5 xanax. It can be very frustrating! I am dealing with panic attacks and was also diagnosed with generalized anxiety.

Hey Ms. Hopeful. You are not alone. I yawn all the time and for no apparent reason. I've just begun the Attacking Anxiety & Depression Program and am begining to realize that my yawning and fatigue may well be a product of my anxiety and depression . . . but more to come.

Hi Hoping and Improving, thanks for the reply. I sometimes feel very alone in this and it helps to talk to others. Look forward to hearing how you do. I've been to the ER so many times, they almost know me by name! All the tests I've had done, EKG, holter monitor, chest x-ray, stress test, blood work, etc., all comes back normal. My dr. said it was stress and recommended Lexapro but I have a fear of new meds. as I have had a few bad reactions in the past. So I asked for a natural choice and she put me on 5-htp (a natural supplement that works to raise serotonin levels). It helps some but I still have good days and bad. Today has been a bad one. Hope yours is better.

Hello Everyone,
I did some research via the internet on frequent yawning, since, I used to be a frequent yawner!!!

Although, it is not listed in the symptoms under anxiety in the program...It is usually caused from anxiety or boredom!!!

I yawned for years and still do when I get tired!!! Honestly, I do not feel that this is anything to worry about, since, yawning is very natural!!!

I pray this helped relieve your mind!!! God Bless You is My Prayer!!!
