I Am Going Through a Difficult Time!!!

Good morning to all:
Ms T-Bone, I was so happy to read that you were feeling some better - and accepting of the situation which is confronting you with your son's decisions. That was such good news.
Because you are so right, acceptance of those things we can't change is the key to peace of mind.
And also I really want to thank you for praying for me. That is always such a blessing when friends pray for one.

This has all been very hard for you. But believe it or not, this, too shall pass. And all involved will have grown and learned. Yes, there will probably be a few scars left.
That is the way of life. (I still have scars on my body left from injuries received as a child). The wounds of the spirit heal too, but a few scars remain. If we have learned from our mistakes, then these scars are good reminders not to make them all over again.

We can always find a blessing tucked away somewhere to give thanks for. In the divorce of both my son and my daughter, children were involved. And believe me, it all affected their lives the most. Their scars are the deepest. They are all grown now but those scars are planted on their precious psychis.
In your case , you can really be so grateful that no little ones will be affected.

And gratitude is a graat balm for pain.

You are going to be fine, Ms T. You are made of very strong stuff. And that is your faith.

Remember that great truth that was taught by all the writers and our Lord, Himself. "LOve covers a multitude of sins".

Your son is going to come thru' this. You have prayed for him all his life. God has heard all those prayers. Now many others join you in praying for him. He will be fine.

You two are the very best!!! Of course, I still need prayer!!! Thank you both sooo much for volunteering to do this for me!!!

It is NOT OVER until it is over....I just need all this negativity behind me....

My son still needs to be remembered in your prayers!!! I am sure he has a pretty tough road ahead of him!!!

I am feeling much better thanks to all your prayers!!! I think I am making peace with this one!!!

BTW...Shifrah, I am not at all bothered by my daughter-in-law saying that she filed for the divorce!!! Really I am not!!!

I know that she has such a habit of lying, and I also realize that she is doing this to "spare face"....

I am just sooo thankful that she is happy!!! That is really what matters the most to me!!!

Yesterday turned out to be a very challenging day. My son's wife called my son's lawyer saying that she wasn't going to sign the divorce papers.

She then, called his lawyer again, and said that she would do so, only, if my son gave her his 4-wheeler, bedroom suite, and some more things.

What I don't understand about any of this is the fact, that he told her to take what she wanted the day she left. She said she didn't want anything else out of the divorce, besides, what she had already gotten...

I am not in one bit concerned about the bedroom suite or the other things. What bothers me is the fact, that she will only agree to this divorce if she gets the 4-wheeler.

You have to understand my son always paid every single bill. She took her money and blew it on anything she wanted. She always bragged about this one.

My son has spent tons of money on this 4-wheeler, and he loves it, and she knows that!!!

I know in my heart that she doesn't even want the 4-wheeler. She just has to have things her way, and she can't stand the thoughts of my son being the one who filed for the divorce. This is her way of "manipulating" him, as she always did in the marriage.

She has been seen on several occasions, and everyone says she is on "cloud nine"...She is getting such a kick out of hurting my son!!!

I advised my son to go ahead and let her have whatever she wants. I told him that it would be worth it just to get her out of his life!!!

The lawyer said this divorce would probably drag on for 6 months or longer, if contested. Also, my son would have to get a new lawyer to handle contested divorces, since, this lawyer does not do contested cases in our county.

I know that his soon to be ex. is just stirring up trouble, since, she has always loved it.

My son is going to see his lawyer again, today. New papers are being drawn up, giving her everything her little heart desires, so, he can get out of this marriage!!!

I just felt the need to update!!!

Hello Everyone,
My son went to see his lawyer again, today. His lawyer drew up more papers, this time, listing the 4-wheeler, bedroom suite, and many other assets in the divorce...

My son's lawyer will be sending out the papers, tomorrow. She should receive them Friday or Saturday...

Hopefully, she will sign them this time...One just never knows when it comes to her...LOL..

I wished this one was behind me, but, I guess I will have to be patient, and allow this one to run its course...

BTW...She can't take the house, since, it is on our property, and it belongs to my hubby and me!!!

I am sooo thankful that my son had not bought a new home. He had been talking about it!!!

I am also very thankful that they didn't have children.

You may call it "intuition" but, I always knew in my heart, their marriage would not last. I know that if my son had not gotten a divorce, that, she would have left him for someone else, eventually. I just always felt this one in my heart!!!

My son will be taking a Comp Tia test in a few weeks. He is a whiz at computer, and he is going for his certification!!! He has been promised a job with the educational department in our county. He will be repairing all the computers for the "schools" in our county, as well as, the superintendent's office!!!

His wife should have gotten her divorce papers this morning...I pray she signs this time...

Wow...did I mention the fact that our sewer system has needed repairing for the last month. We haven't been able to get it anyone out to fix it because it stays too wet. It has rained almost everyday.

Our well pump went out last night. My hubby has to replace the pump...

Did I forget to say...When it rains...It pours...LOL...

G-man-bub...I was getting really concerned about you, since, I had not seen you on the forum in a few days. It is sooo good to know that you are okay!!!!

Hi Little Sis,

Thank your kind words. Remember that the only good in me is Jesus. I am just fine, and taking a very personal and much closer walk with the Lord. Of course I keep an eye out for folks here, when they need or reach out for help, I try to be be there for them to provide an encouraging word or prayer that our loving Heavenly Father inspires me to pray for.

How else can I even get through each wonderful day that the lord has made that we be glad and rejoicing in? I ask the Lord each day, how else can I show and magnify this incomprehensible and wonderful love that He has for us? Thus I go where and how He wants me to go and do. I am just a humble servant in His army, and mostly ground infantry, but that may change at a moment or a twinkling of any eye, but whatever He wants me to do or to serve in, I will put my best foot forward. Take heart little sister, all of your worries about most anything will be over soon. We are so blessed to have gotten to know each other. God is so good. I have to go, I was in the middle of writing to another soldier in God's Army, and I need to complete that. By the way I was doing a quick study on the frequency and occurrences of certain words in the Bible here is the top 10 on my list:

I am going to praise Him always, even in the mist of the storm!!! For He is Worthy of all glory, honor, and praise!!!!

I am sooo thankful for this beautiful day. I walked out and filled up my bird feeder. The sun is shining, and I am sooo grateful!!!

I am grateful to be alive and participating in my day!!! I am grateful for the lives of all of family, friends and loved ones!!!

I am grateful for all of my 5 senses!!! I am grateful for having the gift of life, and of Eternal life. I am grateful that all of my family, with the exception of 2 aunts, are saved!!!

I am grateful for these valleys, because I know that in these valleys He restoreth my soul!!!!

I know that things could be sooo much worse, and that nothing is ever as bad as it seems.

I know that my Redeemer liveth, and in the last day He shall stand upon this earth!!!!

I know that He has everything in His nail scarred hands, and that He is a very big God, and able to smooth out these valleys!!!

So, I am glad that He picked out a valley for me!!! It is here that He leads me beside the "still waters" somewhere in this valley below...He draws me aside to be tested and tried, but, in the valley He restoreth my soul...

Surely the two angels, Goodness and Mercy, will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the "House of the Lord" forever...Amen!!!
