worst attack ever

i woke up last night and it was like i was still in REM the room looked as though it was moveing back and forth like my eyes were still moving like they would if i was in REM after stopping i begain to shake to the point that my legs was stiffing up where i could not wake. my wife kept telling to just claim down i took a xanax .5 mg and after about a hour i was able to go back to sleep now i am this morning its all i can think about please help
for me when i used to have crazy sleep stuff it would also afect me apon wakening i woyld try and get up get busy doing somethig to get my mind off of what had happened and do the breathing stuff in the program and also the posative self talk listen to what is going on in your mind an try not to fixate on what had happened ask yourself what is it your afraid of and see if it is a lagitamate concern hang in there god bless

The fact that after you took the Xanax you were able to relax and go back to sleep is a sure clear sign that it was just your anxiety kicking in to high gear and most likely from thoughts you were having the very day of the anxiety attack or even the day before the attack occured. Can you possibly take some time out and see if you can pinpoint a stressor that you may have had that afternoon or before going to bed? Here is where the program is indispensable because it will help you to get a handle of the negative thinking that is actually at the base of what happened here. And most of the time we are not actually even aware of the negative thoughts seeping into our minds. Once you have completed the program the panic just won't come anymore, even if you tried to make. And that usually happens after only a few sessions of the program.
