J.Tice
J.Tice I just want to mention to you, how you must concentrate on getting well before you can affect any one else. I too thought I could help every one in my family friends, but the fact is I could only help myself, through this course, I could not read and think "so-n-so needs this, or my who-ever, should be hearing this, or reading this. I started out like that and it set me back months, I had to literally start over. "Physician heal thy self" when you get through it you will understand! For now, relax and do it the way it is written and remind yourself YOU NEED to pay attention this time around.
God Bless

cfe Thanks! I needed to read that. I am a pro at thinking of things that will help others in my life and I'm already doing it with this program and I haven't even gotten my DVD's yet. God is truly speaking through you to me. Concentrate on myself now and then I can be at a place later to help others. Thank you so much. I'll try to remember to be at the prayer group next week. I have youth group I have to be at the next hour but if I can just stop by for a few minutes that would be nice too.

BTW can you all pray for a man named John. He's a leader in our youth group. He's been through a long tough spell and he's having difficulty with it all. He also feels so passionately about his political views they spill over into this group. It makes it very uncomfortable for me as I am the only leader in the group with different views. I also don't want to hear about others political views here (it's not the forum for this). I just wish that he could separate the two. I don't say anything about my views other then when everyone else starts bashing "everyone who's a ....." I speak up then and tell them that I am in the room. It's very trying and I certainly believe what God holds true and good but John feels that if you don't agree with everything he thinks and feels you're just wrong. Last time I looked I live in America and I can have my own opinion. I just think that it would be nice to not have to feel guarded every time I go to help with Youth Group. Seems to me it should be a place of love. So please pray for him and for me.

The Bible tells us " <span class="ev_code_RED">When you are sick call the elders</span>" I have found that when I am sick I can't think what to do for me, but when others are sick I have all kinds of advice. God knows us so well, I like what Joyce Meyers says "You are no surprise to God" it helps me to realize I am just being me, only I am sick now and I need not only others which this forum is so good to supply, but I need to slow down, relax and listen very closely to that still small voice of God, my sickens, came on because I got to busy, and I got to busy doing good, because my heart was broken, and I didn't want to deal with my feelings better to deal with the feelings of others, I don't like to journal and I didn't for the first 5 lessons, I regret that it is very important to do this program as it is written, I found God could get through my busy mind when I was journaling. God is in you I can see him in your writing,
Dear Father God. I pray for kidsisme, open her eyes, to see You, open her ears to hear You, and open her heart to know Your perfect love.
<span class="ev_code_RED">"I won't be impatient for the Lord to act! I will keep traveling steadly along his pathway and in due season He will honor me with every blessing. - Psalm 37;34 </span> In the Precious name of Jesus, amen

During these challenging times I tend to lean on my spirituality but I did go through a time when I was questioning my higher power on why was this happening to me?? Nothing was going right for me, and disaster after disaster kept chasing me like, a black cloud. Im realizing so much and this is just the 2nd week of the program.
