The advice already provided here is so excellent, I won't even try to offer more. I agree with all. You cannot make a person love you. Sometimes we want that love so desperately we are willing to grovel away so much time begging for it. Your story is heartbreaking. I hope you understand your advice here is heartfelt. Accept and get on with your life. There are people in your life who already love you, and you don't have to ingratiate yourself and grovel. They love you for you. Be happy for that. Work this program, too. You do need the skills here. Best wishes.

The advice you received from everyone here is excellent. I also had family problems even with my step mother, and now with my one son and his family. I put everything in God's hands and pray they will turn around. I can't change them. Work with the course, I know when a negative thought comes in to my head, I don't feed it, I imediatly think positive. Don't blame yourself.

Thank you so much for understanding how I'm feeling. I have gone through the program and believe me, its the best thing I have ever done for myself. I have come such a long way since I purchased it. But, this is one of the big ones I've been trying to work through. Its people like all of you, taking a moment to share feelings and ideas with someone who is hurting, that make a difference. I will continue to work on ME and try to accept this situation for what it is. I know how much I have tried, and you are all right. I need to put it in Gods hands now.
