I would rather have a break down and get it out rather than keep it all inside and go crazy! I've been so nervous for the past year... I never remember being this nervous about life. See I am also a recovering alcoholic. They put me on these meds a year ago because I stopped cold turkey and didn't go to any meetings because I didn't know I was an alcoholic. Anyway, I tried to kill myself and they just automatically put me on this stuff... I can't go to sleep, I can't get up once I go to sleep, I don't have any emotions, and I don't eat. Among many other things.

Hi,You mentioned being bipolar. Im bipolar 2, and am on celexa 20 mg ,neurontin, 1100 mg, and clonazepam 3 mg. I've tried many different meds. these seem to be working pretty well so far. i've always had loads of anxiety, and I had tons of panic attacks till clonazepam. I have a friend on Abilify, and it seems to be working well for her. You have to get blood work ups every six months with it though. I'd be happy to talk withyou about meds, and bipolar stuff.Take care.

Hi,

I was on Abilify. You might want to check this out: Abilify

I don't want to say anything about it, because Abilify may be a good thing for you. But read what is in the link and learn to check out all medications and vitamin supplements as much as you can before you try them so that you will have an idea of what to expect. The link I provide is a very good resource and a very good first step.

I would also suggest that you learn and work the program. The key to your wellness is right inside of you, and you can get all the encouragement from your friends in this peer support group. We can be big brothers, sisters, moms and dads to all.

Other things that seem to help me is listening to music and sometimes singing along. I like Gospel and Contemporary Christian Music to help provide me some inspiration, but you might also want to try This One.

Hang in there, it's all going to be okay. God told me so and soon did Lucinda;-)

Hugs,

Gman
