Imovane + bitter taste in mouth

Hi...My MD recently switched me from Trazadone to Imovane as I had been having a lot of insomnia which caused me a suspension from my job. I found it put me to sleep but i didn't stay asleep. I can deal with that so far but the bitter taste in my mouth that follows me through the day is a pain! My favorite thing to drink is milk and that has been ruined. Has anyone had this problem and did anything help them. I don't want to switch meds again now that I am actually sleeping again!
