Really scary feeling.. am i alone?

Matthew haf, Caras mommy has a great idea with the aversion therapy. I used a rubber band around my wrist, too. Whenever I focused on my heart rate, I would snap the rubber band as a reminder to focus on something positive. It truly works. It takes a while, but it works. I now use it for my negative thinking. Whenever I start focusing on the negative, I "snap" myself into a positive mind frame.
