You're a riot. LOL

Well, I'd rather be home with my family and with my med phobia going crazy and having people coming at me with all sorts of pills to take at their will sounds like HELL on earth.

If I could transplant your vision of going crazy I wouldn't be afraid! LOL

See mental diseases run in my family really bad like even my father has a mental disease, so it is a huge fear that like i some how genetically contracted this disease!! Which i understand is a possibillity but I truly believe mine is all anxiety! but anyway that website helped tremendously obsessive scary thoughts is my main problem and just after reading that article has helped tremendously! Thank You
I was told by a psychiatrist that the only time hallucination type things are a problem is if you see someone/something and you actually think it's real and you're interacting with it.

So you have like an imaginary friend (schizophrenia).

She explained to me that hypnogogic hallucinatinos like I get or seeing things out of the corner of your eyes is normal.

I recently found out my cousin had o start taking an antipsychotic medication. Now, she's actually a 2nd cousin, but her mother has had problems with panic/anxiety like me and her sister has too.

So what started this wonderful episode of worry was me feeling bad one night and then letting myself start thinking that I may end up like my cousin. She actually had a head injury though and they think that caused the problems she's having, but tell that to the voice in my head going BOO. LOL

You guys have all helped me put this into perspective though thank you!!

Exactly!!! Humor, humor, humor. This is the key to breaking obsessive scary thoughts like this. I know it may not be easy to find humor in this. If it is really difficult then why not make humor a normal part of your week. Even watching experts is a way of creating it within yourself. You can even steal some of the jokes and use them with the people around you. Eventually humor creativity will come.

I'm still planning to sit down and drink apple juice out of a urine sample cup at some place with lots of people. One day!

Mike

Reading Denice's program for causing anxiety and depression in the humor section is also a great way to do it too.
