I was in my car the other day when Carrie Underwood came on. She was singing her song called "so small". I've heard it to maney times to count but that day was different.
She was singing about alot of things we struggle with.
Sometimes That mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand. What you've been out their looking for, forever is in your hands(we have the choice).
When you figure out love is all that matters after all. It sure makes everything else seem so small(being grateful for what we have).

I don't remember all the words but it's really good. You can go on her website and watch the video.

I hope you all will share what songs inspires you. :)

I love music and have several songs that evoke emotions out of me:

Simple Man by Lynard Skynard. This one is a great blueprint for life. It helps to keep me grounded.

Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. This one gets me pumped and makes me feel invincible.

God Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts. Haven't heard this one in a while, but it makes me feel good.

Aaron Neville songs. Some of his songs are totally thoughprovoking.

New Orleasn Lady by Louisiana LeRoux. I am from New Orleans and this song makes me think of the many good times I had in New Orleans.

There are plenty of other songs I could list, but would have to go through my playlist and relisten to them. Songs most definitely evoke emnotions and are very powerful.

Yes my favorite song is from the HIllsong group out of Australia. I think its called "Hes got all the power you need"
It goes sometnig like this: My God shall never fail, hes been proven time and again; trust and see he's got all the power you need!
Another verse says: Got dreams turning into plans, too big for human hands, trust and see hes got all the power you need!
God does have all the power and wisdom we need for any situation we come up against. Trust him and he will show the way for us to have all that we could ever ask or think!

I have posted on the song stuff before, and yes I have plenty to chose from Karen :)
I will share something new, a local gal from my state (and not too far away from me) is awesome and will make it BIG (I hope). She is on her way up and I bought her first CD (I love every song!). Her name is Nicole Frechette, www.nicolefrechette.com
This whole CD (8 original songs) picks me up so much I can't even pick out a favorite :)

enjoy :)

My favorite song is "Give Me Jesus". Here are the words.

In the morning when I rise,
In the morning when I rise,
In the morning when I rise-
Give me Jesus.

Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus.
You can have all this world, but give me Jesus.

And when I am alone,
Oh,and when I am alone,
And when I am alone.
Give me Jesus.

Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus.
You can have all this world, but give me Jesus.

And when I come to die,
Oh, and when I come to die,
And when I come to die.
Give me Jesus.

Give me Jesus,
Give me Jesus.
You can have all this world,
You can have all this world,
You can have all this world,
But give me Jesus.

I usually listen to Christian radio so there are a lot of songs that inspire me.

However, the song that totally RELAXES me is Christopher Cross' "Sailing". I put it in my MP3 player and the last time I went to the doctor I listened to it over and over while I was waiting on him to come into the room. :) I just imagine myself in a boat out on the water.
