This is getting really difficult. Can I please ask for your prayers again, for my sister? I just left the ER where she was admitted for emergency surgery to remove her spleen. I couldn't stay as I have to care for her one year old son while she is there...please pray for her, she is SO important to my family and me!

Thank you all so much. My sister's surgery was really complex and long, she had a cyst on her spleen that had attached itself to most of her internal organs. She will be in the hospital at least a week recovering, and she is feeling very down as though this is the worst.

However...I have since learned that the cyst was bleeding internally, which is likely what caused the pain, and had we not dragged her into the ER when we did she could potentially have had a massive internal bleed. Also, the cyst was completely benign. And the surgery is behind her now, and I had one more week of maternity leave left so I am able to care for her little boy while she is laid up...so I actually found the silver linings in all of this, which is not usually how I look at things. I think this Program is working...

Tara, I am praying for a speedy recovery for your sister, and I am gla dto know that the surgery went well, although it was complex. I will pray for your sister and your friend from your other post in my prayers.

I'm also glad you are becoming positve and making progress. I am still working on that myself.
