Group praying?

Yes *D* Barb G wrote me a note too. I was just about to put a prayer request on the thread for her, she is sure frustrated with her life just now, and we need to stand in the gap for her. Here is a wonderfull frendship blog? I guess that is what it is. I enjoyed it today from a frind of mine and thought this was a good place to put it in.

Remeber Barb G In your prayers in particular tonight and tomarrow she is going through a huge growing pain. most of us are in that sandwitch generation, and I can remeber when my mother in law needed so much attention I thought I was the jelly in that sandwitch trying to be sweet, when I felt like dripping off the bread, I deffinetly felt I was spread to thin to be any good. I think Barb G is trying to be the penut butter, with the jelly mixed in the hole thing is spreading her to thin too. God Bless her efforts and help her to lean on Your Tower of Strength, and religh on Your Controling and Directing her steps. In Jesus Name we pray for Barb G,and her husband and borther in law, tonight for decenment, peace, and wisdom to help her mother in law in Your will for her life. Awmen

I'm fairly new to the program and I'am looking to connect and lean on the saints. What time do you all get together to chat on-line.

Earlier today I visited the open chat line, it was a big disappointment. Please Advise.

Ya I understand I left the chat room along time ago. It is just a little to bussy. We try to come on here at 8;pm M.T. and we just writ our requestes, or just check to see if there are any, and pray for each other. I will add you to the list, that makes 47 of us praying for eachother, I simply pray each day for the list, as for one thing I know we all have is to much stress in our lives. but if there is anything specific you want prear for pleas feel totaly free to write it out here. Good to have you the more the better, I know prayer makes a diffrence. Welcom

Tonight on Jimmy & Karen Evens they were talking about how love is a choice, how you have to woke at stayingin in love it is a chosen feeling, and feelings run out on you if you doh't cleave to oneanoter. and Lee Ezel's CD I listend to today from her book "Porcupine People" was about how love is a comitment, you have to want to, and if you want to and ask God to help you with it He will; Love is a fruit fo the Spirit.

I have been praying for Barb G today, becoming a care taker of your Mother is very hard, I wateched my Mother and her siblings stand back really to long when their mother needed them to come alongside and help her, but they just could not bring themselves to be their Mothers care taker. to switch those roles is ever so hard, when My fater died I became my Mothers Executor, and she leanes on me to help her. I have a problem with that role, but now after 6 years I am getting more comfortable. with it. When I was the one driving my mother in law around and helping her, it was very hard for her son my husband to step in and do for his mother. It is a hard thing, but it seems to be inevitable for us all our parents are needing to rely on us now. and our kids are just letting go some.

I am sure we know people on this Site we choose to love, it comes easy and some times it is difficult to know if some one is genuine, but we are all here because we need love and acceptance, some of us need to be real, and come out from hiding. to find our real selves. I pray God will help each of us to be comited lovers of all our brothers and sisters in Christ, realizing some are still in bondage of their fears, and are reaching out for a hand out of their situation. God may I be able to love them all, and minister Your LOve to them even the porcupines, Awmen

Thank you guys so much for praying. God answered fast. My mother-in-law is now in the nursing home where my brother-in-law (her son) works. He got her in the wing where he knew she'd get better care. There were some complications with a new director of nursing but God had another gal step in and take care of it. Thru all this God spoke to me much yest. and even more thru the Beth Moore study "Believing God". I repented over many things concerning my mother-in-law since God made things clear. I'm now going to hunt for old pictures for her to relive the good memories. She has what's called Diffused Lewy Body Syndrome which is a form of dementia with Parkinsons symptoms. It all makes perfect sense now. My husband and I called her a ditz many times which even before all this she was more backwards then some but what about my problems with anxiety. I'm sure I appear weird to people too at times. As Lucinda says..."No Big Deal." Yea, why do we make such a big deal out of people being different than us. God is showing me good things about her. That we didn't have to fight to put her in the nursing home. That she always has a smile or chuckle even if sometimes it doesn't make sense it's better than her being crabby and screaming like my mother often does. I really had a hard time because of some knowledgeable person saying with this disease people that are normally nice can turn very nasty and use *f* words and all kinds of swearing so here I was panicking about that because the Neurologist we took her to said this will progress quickly. So what was I having? Major fear thoughts and all of a sudden I heard Lucinda say, "Wait a minute...just because blah,bla, doesn't mean..." Exactly! Then I thought of our Bible study and said, "I believe God." Can you believe how my mind went? I got myself so upset I was mad at God thinking why would he let that happen to her? Just like that the voice came, why do you believe that woman? We can choose to listen to other people or to God. Just because someone is supposed to be knowledgeable doesn't mean they know every situation. I choose to believe God will take her home before she gets that bad or give us the grace to deal with it one day at a time. Thanks for all your prayers. My brother-in-law is doing much better too. He was taking so much time off from his job cuz he works at the nursing home and was constantly having to run to his mother to take care of her.

I'm now going to hunt for old pictures for her to relive the good memories.

When I had to put my Grand Mother in the nursing home, I made a tape of her record colectoin, and the Home played in the background music so many of the people in the home remembered those old songs, and enjoyed it they played it every day, nothing makes you feel young better than music.

So happy for you to have God in your heart, and speaking to you, what a thill that is. (((big hug))))

Welcome Billie Jean, We all pray for each other and you will make it a group of 48, people praying for all of us, and 8pm MT. some of us pray at more convient times, or just when ever we think too. any prayer is good. Some of us like to post our needs, and requests on the sight, We especially like to read about the tryumphs of prayers answerd. Others are unspoken prayers, we all konw we are having diffculty with anxiety & Depression. and that is enought to know to pray for each other. I am sure there are some privet PM's too. We are flexable, Just wanting support from us is enough to get you onr prayer list. God Bless you and welcom to our team!
