As Believer stated and thanks Believer I am not looking for a back and forth challenge here. I am not looking for a final word or anyones agreement, nor am I searching for anyones approval. Each person will be judged at the day of judgement...I am not the one to cast the first stone......

Jewels I'm glad you found some schools that support your thoughts as I have found some schools that support mine as well and all truth that I have revealed.

As far as me and my house we will serve the Lord and give him glory in ALL things whether a car, a toy, an idea, even a cracker..he is the source in my life and the lives of my children and wife.....

Glory be to God

Thanks Believer for that cool response.

Sorry Jewels not looking for a challenge here nor do I think sanmannn is.

I disagree. Because I do, that should not make me a candidate for deletion.

Blessings to you......not looking to have a religion challenge here but please be careful I don't want to see you get banned or receive a warning as well.

What this says to me is if I belief other then you and post as such, as many do, I may get banned? That is call discrimination. It's says: because you do not agree with the majority, you must therefor go.

Yes, I do believe there is free christian schools. The percentage is minimal. I found tuition assistance to be more likely though as seen below:

[[Our research has shown that nearly every Christian school in the US (96%) gives out tuition assistance. The areas of the United States in which Christian schools have the highest percentage of families on tuition assistance are: the Northeast and Rocky Mountain regions. It is interesting, though, that these areas do not have the highest tuition rates. The highest tuition is found in California, Florida, and the Mid-Atlantic regions.]]

Hey Jewels...

I dont make the rules here. I just have seen them put in place over and over and have seen some great people with wonderful ideas...even ideas that weren't align with mine....they were still very wonderful ideas....but because of all the challenges and all the differences in opinions the post/thread that was having that was shut down by admin......I believe you called it right Jewels...perhaps the "D" word.........

Anything anxiety provoking or attacking or downing anothers opinion or thought is shut down and monitored by admin.....

Have a great and blessed day...

Thank you believer for your concerns. I see you have posted 397 times to this forum. 90% of them to the spiritual section alone. Your posts support your beliefs. Others should be extended that same courtesy without feeling threatened. Not looking to fight with you believer, just would like the same courtesy extended to myself and others who are on a different path.

Let's get back to the original topic and stop the arguing who stays and who doesn't, that is up to StressCenter staff. The removal of a thread or person(s) is not based on anyones beliefs, spirituality, non-beliefs, religious and/or non religious concerns but is based on the Terms of Service posted at the bottom of each page on the website.

StressCenter for Anxiety & Depression serves all people no matter what their race, religion, nationality, and creed is.

A good thing to always remember when posting on a forum or in a chatroom, there are times when one must learn to agree to disagree and move on.

Jewels I think it would be a great idea for you to start a thread here in this forum. I'm sure there are many here that might have similar beliefs and thats great. I even enjoy reading some.......

Thanks for observing my postings. I don't post or respond to many threads because I can't relate to it...........with that I wouldn't know what to say........so I wont say anything adn I keep moving forward.

I look forward to reading some of your postings.

Have a blessed day

Thank you for your suggestion to post elsewhere Believer. That is very kind of you. I may take you up on that at a later date. I'm not sure what I'd start a post about? A lot of the posts in this section seem to be about scare tactics to get people to conform. Something about that seems to draw me in. I see dozens of posts, mostly the same people saying the same things over and over. I'm fascinated by it. Go figure? The whole idea of there being only one way into heaven, worrying about others not being christian enough to get there, condemning people in society to eternal hell for not agreeing with them, claiming to be the select chosen few, believing in one true religion, bible thumping those who aren't interested in it, the revelations of eternal hell, the rapture and it's wrath, all the poor souls left behind while Gods few faithfuls get all the goods, and the list goes on. I am just amazed and intrigued by some of the stuff I read. It's weird though. Reading through it makes me sometime forget that I am indeed on a anxiety forum with people who are in a weaken place at this point and time in their lives. It forget that this isn't a yahoo forum for the chosen few. Interesting how my mind play tricks on me. I suppose it could be a trait of OCD?

I suppose I COULD start a post to talk about my loving God? Not sure it would go over too well. I fear many would run me out of town. It's something I will consider Believer. I will not bother you (personally) with my beliefs in the future as I can see we are both coming from different places. Thank you again for the suggestion.

There are some truths in what has been posted by Jim and Jennifer. However, the main problem I see is inconsistency in applying Christian beliefs and the Constituion in a fair way to all races. We as a nation killed native Americans in order to steal what they possessed, their land. We as a nation, including the Church as a whole, stood by and allowed the Ku Klux Klan to terrorize black Americans, hanging them, burning them, placing burning crosses in their home's yards. We as a nation allowed open discrimination against blacks and I was old enough to witness some of it and wondered as a child why this was allowed to take place.

Women were viewed as property more so than as human beings when this country was founded, much of that coming from what was viewed as a proper Christian perspective. Women were finally given the right to vote in 1920.

While all of this was happening, prayer was active in our schools, God was allowed and flourished in our schools.

I think we have reaped what we have sown. Unfair racial and gender bias, murder, lies, stealing, etc. All under the guise of a Christian nation.

To say you never heard of murders of students before prayer was taken out of schools is to say you belong to the privileged white race which never suffered at the hands of the privileged white race.

There are Christians in public schools. To say that God favors private Christian schools over public schools because of prayer and religious freedom is a bit simplistic in my view. I suspect that the reason that private schools are doing better, if in fact they are, is due to the economic status of those families in those schools. My guess is that they have a good income, probably most have two parents who are stable. A child growing up in such a household is naturally going to be more secure and stable than a child without these advantages. And it is the public schools who have the majority of students coming from poor, disadvantaged families.

The thing you see Christ angered about the most in scripture is hypocrasy, saying one thing but practicing another.

I say all of this to try and bring some truth to this thread. You may not like what I have said, but it is the truth.

There is not a lot of prayer in schools any longer and kids are allowed to do things today which I couldn't get away with when I was attending. But, to lay the blame for our current woes on this is not realistic. There was a heck of a lot more injustice, including murder, lies, and deceit, taking place looooooong before prayer was taken out of school.

Time to stop looking at the world through distorted lenses. If you want to blame someone else for the current status, I suggest we all take a good look at ourselves first.

As a nation, founded upon great principles of freedom and religion, we have largely failed to live up to those principles by our conduct. If we had shown respect and love to our Neighbor, I suspect prayer and God would still be in schools.

Jewels....

Just like admin posted in this thread.....that no one is to attack anyone...Don't be afraid someone would attack you for sharing your thoughts and your heart. If they do they will get a warning by admin or banned. As you can see from this thread admin does monitor. I would love to see you express yourself and your beliefs.......and you will see how many more who's heart you will touch as well. Many are there they just don't come out.......Many people place topics in this forum just to provoke others and create conflict adn I wont mention any names....and then they run out....Yes this site is full of challenged individuals and I am one who is in a healing process. Please start a thread I would love to read. I get tired of my own postings as well...lol..lol.

Have a beautiful and blessed day..

I appreciate your post Don57. I realize from some of your past posts that you follow christian standards. I must say I admire your honesty. You are able to see the picture for what it is and be honest enough about your thoughts to share it. I agree with your opinion and respect you for putting it out there.
