Gah!! Got stuck in a major traffic jam -took me
over an hour to get to work, 'Parked and Ran 1/2 block to the building-ran up 2 flights of stairs-get into office to find the BOSS isn't there yet!!!!!!! :p (You know if I don't get
there in time he will fire me) got a warning.
But some mornings no matter how early I leave I always get stuck in traffic!!
I've been good-haven't been late in over a year.

I'm still coming down from this 'adrenaline rush'- Doing my deep breathing and am going to do my Relaxation cd during lunch/or when I can sneak it in today.

Gotta hate traffic, Deb!

Just think of it this way - you got your exercise in for sure today!!! :)

Good idea to use the relaxation tapes to cool down too. I don't have much traffic here (it's rural - my idea of a bad traffic back-up is when I get behind a John Deere combine!!! LOL), but my sister lives near DC and it is a nightmare there! She about has to leave for her job 20 miles away an hour ahead of time!!! I feel for you!

Hang in there! :)

Blessings,
Dawn

Hi DebDeb.

You're doing the best you can. Give yourself credit for that. You've done good. Keep relaxing yourself with the breathing. But also walk around a little, it'll help use up a lot of that adrenaline, just like exercize does. :)

Good idea DeeDee; I am going to take a few breaks to walk around & I'll take a nice stroll during
lunchtime.

Dawn, I am trying to calm down now -behind that
wheel I was all tensed up-and wasn't breathing
calmly-but I have enough skills now to recognize
it and stop it from 'joining me thru the day'
I will have a good day despite this!! :)
