Hi everyone. About 6 years ago, when I did the program (I was crippled with anxiety and panic), I wrote this little speech to myself that I used to read to myself every morning for a while--until it started to sink in. Even after I was feeling better, on a rare day when I woke up feeling helpless or anxious for whatever reason, I would read this to myself. I dont know if it will be of use to other people, but I think it did help me out a good bit. I encourage all of you who haven't already to write one of these to yourself. Anyway I was cleaning out some files om my computer today and found the original file, so I thought I would share:

Today is a new day. With this day comes an opportunity to make it the best it can be, rain or shine. Today I have a chance to make a positive impact in my life, as well as other lives, and I will do that to the best of my ability. I will not focus on the past and I will not focus on things I cannot control. I will take every minute as if it were a gift from God, because it is. I will do all I can do to live what I know is best, and become the change I want to see in the world. There is no better time to start being proactive than right now. My fear cannot control me and my shortcomings do not define me. I will not let them. I am a human being, and although I'm not perfect, I am capable of amazing things through love, compassion and living Gods will. I have no need to be perfect. All I need is myself, my faith and to use the strength that lives within me in a positive way. I don't have to feel like doing it, I just need to do it. There is no better time than today.

OK, I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope you know that there really is a light at the end of the tunnel. Some of you are already in remission, some of you are still living in fear. I hope all of you find the things in life that you see and feel in your heart. It is possible, but you must find the hope, and the faith in yourself and use it. Don't ever give up. You are worth fighting this to the ends of the earth and back for. This program here can help guide you into finding that. I just thought I would pass this on. I haven't been on here for a while. To my friends I have made on here, I miss you all, and I hope to be on here to chat more often soon.

Thanks that was wonderful! I needed to read that today.

I copied it and put it in a file on my desk top.
There is a line in there from Ghandi..."become the change you want to see in the world." I love that idea :) I believe it is from Ghandi.

Thanks again for sharing.

Coco :)

Thank You very much. I copied that to a file and saved it, too. I'm sure it will be very helpful to me in my new resolution to live a fearless life, focusing on today and not on past regrets. :)
