Hi all,

I'm a seasoned pro at suffering with anxiety disorders. Early this winter the usual dizziness and anxiety kicked back in almost overnight. I believe it may have been brought on by a hormone fluctuation from fertility meds. Anyhow - this cycle for me has been plagued by a mind-numbing fatigue 2- 3 days out of the week. Is fatigue another symptom for anxiety? I'm so used to being keyed up that this is entirely new to me. The fatigue is so profound that I've had to miss work and I've never done that with my anxiety. Anyone else experience similar symptoms? I find it hard to believe that I could have both Chronic Fatigue and Anxiety Disorder. Any insight would be most appreciated. I actually miss feeling anxious as at least I know how to function with it.

Hi fearless,
Yes, you can have chronic fatigue and anxiety. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and live with chronic pain and still suffer from anxiety. Hang in there, hormone flucuations can cause havoc. It can be a vicious circle though. The Fibro symptons I experience leave me worrying about my health alot. Is it going to get worse, can I still work. Those thoughts lead to more stress and more anxiety. Just take it a day at a time.

I am always tired, so you are not alone. I have been this way since my teens and my family thinks I am just lazy. No, just tired from thinking so much.

I have severe fatigue. It is a symptom of anxiety and depression. Thinking too much, as we do, actually causes fatigue. I also sounds like you might be fatigued from the fertility meds. My fatigue is the worst when I ovulate.
