How long is it necessary to write down your negative thoughts?
I've gone through the program twice now. The first time a bit lazy, and then the second time I just went through the sessions I thought I needed. I wrote down negative thoughts a bunch and was fairly good about it when I would get a ton of them. Now, I think I'm really good at picking up and hearing them. I just still struggle with staying on top of replacing them.
Is it still necessary to write them?

Good question...I find writing very therapeutic and recommend it always...however...how about writing down 4 of the ugliest thoughts that you can remember having once a week. With your diligence I would guess that you can do this mentally about as well as in writing. The formal writing them down is a way to help us recognize our negative thoughts more easily and quickly-you probably are there already.
Read a couple books with the main theme being positive thinking. A couple examples: You'll See It When You Believe It, by Wayne Dyer, and You Can Be Happy No Matter What, by Carlson. There are many more and one of these books every 6 months can't hurt.
Keep up the good work...Carolyn
