The Linden Method
I have taken the Linden Method. It is different from this program in the sense that I found it more forceful. Charles Linden keeps emphasizing that it is all up to you, no holds barred. He certainly gives you great guidance along the way interspersing this with his story and with his unique 9 Pillar System.
The program goes in depth into such things as what anxiety is and how it works, phobias, diversion, breathing, prescription drugs, diet, smoking & alcohol, posture, environmental factors, child anxiety, guidance for partners.
The program comes with a large manual with exercises to do (around 250 pages), many audio cd's on such things as different visualizations, generalized anxiety disorder, panic attack eliminator, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias, his story, an interview with him... and many videos including a simple and easy tai chi exercise.
He stresses that elimination of anxiety can be done by yourself using his method. I have to say that it IS different from this program and he speaks more directly to you. He is very relaxing to listen to (although forceful) and the manual is very, very good.
I took this program a few years ago (it's been around for over a decade) and, to be honest, it takes a more direct "you can do it yourself" approach. It does not deal much at all with depression, but does tend to get into the "anatomy of anxiety". He gets into the brain and how it interacts with the body more than does this program. He stresses some things directly such as "stop researching", "stop doctor hopping". It is another approach to curing anxiety and panic attacks. And it is a unique approach.
I personally enjoyed the program. It includes free unlimited 24 hour email and telephone support for one year. The program has a great price point of $177 if you want the materials mailed to you or $87 if you want to download all the materials. Heck, even the counselling support for those prices is a good deal.
My opinion - it's well worth a shot. It attacks anxiety from another direction. I got a lot out of it. But by all means visit the website and check it out (which I am assuming you have done). Just google "The Linden Method".
Good luck. Let me know how you did.

I looked into it a bit and listened to some of the things he had to say. There is alot of truth in what he says when it comes to not talking about it. I agree that its not good to spend too much time talking about it but not talking about it at all to me just sounds like you have to hide it and supress it. I could be really wrong and it sounds like Flyer has more experience with it. I just didn't like the feeling I got from it and it didn't resognate with me.

Hi Mike, Good points. This is another situation where a person would have to make up his/her own mind about every program. I think for the money it cost it would be worth a shot and then make a determination.
Yarn, did you think about looking for it on EBay or Craigslist perhaps. Also, in your situation the download at $87 would be a good choice. Like I mentioned, the free one year support would be worth it.
Good luck in whatever you decide to do! Take care!
