I am having such a hard time. I wake up and go into panic. I need a new mind. I need to hear in my ears and then just repeat outloud a truth. Then I want my mind to some day believe it.

It'll take some time marty but its definately doable. I used to wake up like that everyday but i toned it down to minor anxiety now. If you can practice using the relaxation cd when you wake up, you will train your mind to be relaxed when waking.

hi misobsessive! everyone had great comments..it IS hard...i tried with small things i could believe that were more positive..real small and the truth trying to clarify it. isn't it amazing how we can say good to others and believe it...but ever so hard to do the same to ourselves. yes all are right =keep doing it to every negative you catch...your brain will believe the small in time then the better with practicing catching the negs first in your journal. best wishes

thanks everyone. I have been catching a lot of them lately, and have been consciously trying to not react to them or feed them.. As soon as I notice them, I just recognize it and ALLOW it to float in and float back out. Then I ALLOW myself to refocus :). I've seen success so far! I also am replacing them with other positive things, but that is so hard! Like Ken on the tapes says how he could at least say what he knew was right, even though he didn't feel that way. That's what I've been trying :).
