Your house sounds like an insect and reptile zoo ! LOL

I decided to wait to get the Japanese Maple because in 2 weeks they go on sale half price ! They put one away for me.

I went for the river walk on Sunday and today after work. I feel completely rested and I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight.

Work has been going awesome too. I haven't had another panic attack since the last time I posted. I make sure to eat well, drink plenty of water and slow down ! That seems to work for me. I don't know 100% why the attacks came on, but I know how to stop them in their tracks.

Hope today went smoooooooooth for all !

Time for me to hit the hay ! zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Here's to an awesome tomorrow !!!!!!!!

honey, i'm so glad you're feeling better!!!!! you DO know how to stop attacks - yay for you!!!!!!

i think i was deemed "uncool" today. what i didn't tell the person who may or may not have deemed me uncool is that what he doesn't know about me could fill the grand canyon. that line is stolen from the movie "chasing amy" LOL i love that movie!

then a was in im's with a friend in los angeles who told me "you're good medicine. take a hit of you and feel better!" how cool is that? way cool LOL x forever

today was a good day at work. i'm busy but not on overload.

mama and i walked around the lake again this afternoon. the wind has been something else! but i love it whipping my hair back and around and up and down. it's like nature sighing to me!!

i think i channeled creamcheesepuff this morning. i hit the snooze button on my alarm but didn't go back to sleep. why? because the birds were singing in the dark - beckoning the dawn. it was wonderful.

the birds sang the morning in again today! i love it.

i'm off friday - tomorrow - yayyyyyy! another unpaid furlough day. i'm as happy about it as if i have good sense!!!! came home and started painting the garage - cranberry red - same color as the front door. mama came over for our afternoon walk and we went by home depot for another gallon of paint. it's going to be so pretty!!! just the little bit i've done so far looks great - bragging on myself LOL

today was the office luncheon that was postponed last week for secretary's day - or administrative assistant day - or whatever. there were 12 of us at an italian restaurant. i got the pasta with artichokes, black olives, tomatoes and shrimp - ate it ALL - it was that good. it was one of the few choices that didn't have a cream sauce.

i can't wait for the morning to really play outside! i haven't seen the snake again - maybe it left? if not, maybe we can all live in harmony? LOL

i hope your day was all that is good and your tomorrow rocks!!!!!!!!

Karmaberry, got a kick out of your post with you thinking about me in the morning with my mockingbird singing.....OH does he sing...sometimes as early as 2am!!!! Its weird to hear a bird sing in the dark like that, and he is such a little buzzard!!! He is the landlord boy!!! He chases all the birds away when I throw bread out...he wants it all for himself!!!!
I would love to start a project but my house is like a box warehouse right now because I have been looking for another residence out of state......and my cats love these boxes!!! like an amusement park to them. creamcheesepuff

Good afternoon all !

Karma ! - I'm a HUGH carbohydrate fan ! LOL Pasta is my best friend ! That thing you had at the restaurant sounds awesome. I would've eaten it all do (and more ! LOL) I'm trying to avoid stuff like cream sauces too. Actually my favourite is linguini with clam sauce. There's a restaurant here that makes it the best !

This week went by really fast. I was pleased with that ! Everyone was in an awesome mood and because of that, so was I.

It reached 80 degrees here today. After it cools down a bit, I'm going for my river walk. It's gotten to the point now where if I don't do the riverwalk, I miss it. I've officially become the person I used to make fun of !!!!!!

I'm HOPING to get stuff at Home Depot now for a walkway that I want to do that goes from my back door to the cement patio (the patio is actually the driveway that I had extended back haveway into the back yard. I figured that I'm getting the driveway extended, I might as well go further and make a patio out of it. I think Home Depot is going to be a mad house this weekend. I'll fit right in once the panic attacks hit. I won't be the only one rolling on the floor shaking. I hope the ambulance will be able to fit thru the crowds !

Time to start the weekend !!!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone has a rockin' weekend

i went to home depot thursday night to get another gallon of cranberry paint to do the pool side of my garage. because walmart is just down the street it's the slowest place ever!

i got the entire side of the garage done yesterday!!!! i am so happy and proud because it looks wonderful - yayyyyyy i wore a sports bra and my hard rock cafe tie-dyed boxer shorts so i'd get sun. i didn't think it through. end result? my back is sunburned. i never wear a 2 piece bathing suit duh AND lol at myself. i went to sleep last night with an ice pack between my wrists.

i had a mild panic attack late yesterday afternoon on the way to publix with mama. there are so many reasons why it could have happened. i hadn't eaten enough during the day. i got too much sun. the smell of the paint made me a bit light-headed - i think - it was such a strong smell and i practically put my head in the can when i'm painting. the weather was starting to change - the clouds were moving in for rain - and my ears were stuffy. i was physically tired - my neck and shoulders were stiff and tight from painting. yes, a lot of reasons! i didn't feel great the rest of the night - but who would have felt wonderful after reading that list? LOL

i saw my first really beautiful butterfly of the year yesterday. she was black with blue markings and fluttered past me briefly.

when i'm working out back i take my cd player and listen to music. yesterday's music was melissa etheridge, foreigner, jonny lang, and sarah mcclachlan. since i'm alone i can sing along without anyone telling me i can't sing a lick LOL

i'm getting ready to start the day. i may get my hair trimmed - it's so long! my plan is to do the back door - cranberry red of course!!!!! and i'll be in the shade LOL

hope your day rocks!

the birds are singing right now! i bought one of those topsy turvy tomato planters last year and hung it on my back porch. it's a given i left it up all winter. now a sparrow is nesting in it. i watch the daddy bringing food to the mama. it's super cool!!!!

cats do love boxes - and paper bags. i once had a cat who would take various things from here and there to stash away in her bag. i'd find bottle caps and bits and pieces of this and that - it was so cute! the boys would never let me have a cat now LOL

when are you moving - and where? that's me being nosy LOL

Hi Karma! I think I found your snake! One showed up by my steps and it really looked like a moccasin so my son shot its head off and only its tongue was left! Yuck....it was the strangest looking thing ever..... long snake body with only a forked tongue hanging out. We burned it in our fire pit because someone told my daughter that if you burn a snake, no other snakes will come around for seven years. It's not true though, we burned a snake last year and now here was another one! I am feeling a connection with you again because I was planting some stuff the other day and I put my hair up, not thinking that my neck never sees the sun and guess what? Neck burned to a crackly crunch! I also have a topsy turvy planter that has had a bird nest in it, twice. Maybe they should readvertise them as bird nesters.....tomatoes never grew worth a crap in them anyway, did yours? Just like you and cream cheese I have a cat who loves boxes, I guess they all do! He also loves to curl up in the bathroom sink (scares my Mom to death when she goes to wash her hands) and on top of any clothes that you don't want cat hair on! Karma, I'm so sorry about your "slight" panic attack but it sounds like you rocked right through it. GO YOU!

mama and i watched the kentucky derby yesterday. as the horses were being put in the gates, my prayer was that all stayed safe on that MUDDY track!!!! i wanted the filly to win - i loved the name devil may care because that's my attitude LOL i told mama to watch calvin because whatever horse he was riding would probably win - and it did!!!! what a great rider!

i've been to churchhill downs once - but not for the derby. i stood at the finish line and WOW. the ground shakes as the horses thunder across the finish line. i won the first race i bet on - a gray named mygo dancer. spent the winnings losing every other bet LOL

what a happy memory!!! thank you for bringing up THE derby LOL
