Congratulations on cleaning stuff out ! I love heaving stuff out. Going to the dump is one of my favourite things to do. It makes me feel in control.

You're just taking Christmas stuff down now ??? You really like the holiday season, don't you ? LOL

It sounds like winter is finally away from you. You might have to pull the fans out and get them going. LOL Actually I sleep with a fan on pointing away from me. I fall asleep so much easier with the hum of the fan. It may sound strange, but it works.

Today was an awesome day. I went into work for 7:00am and worked until 11:00am. The time flew by and I got my work done (with one minor glich...my computer crashed ! LOL) I didn't panic or anything. I realize that there are things that are beyond my control. That's one of them. If the "boss" says anything on Monday, I'll tell him to jump off a bridge ! LOL (just kidding)...I'll tell him that there wasn't much I could do and I still got it done, but I still need to look it over.

After work, I had to go buy stuff for my lunches next week and also the rest of the shopping. I ended up having a panic attack in the store. I was half way across the store when it kicked in. I breathed my way thru it. I walked a slower pace and it stopped after a minute or two. THEN the pain in my leg started which made me forget about the panicky feeling ! LOL Oh well. I'm a wreck. LOL

It's supposed to be sunny and in the high 40's all week long here. It's going to definitely help me stay in a positive mood. I may even do the riverwalk. There are benches all along the path. If I get sore, I can sit down for a bit.

Hope everyone is having an awesome weekend !

i lost what i was typing before and it was good LOL

the best thing happened a bit ago. i found the cameleon that had eluded me last month in the living room. she was in front of the fireplace and i was able to get her in my hands and into the ivy on the front porch. i love cameleons LOL

i just watched "picnic at hanging rock". now that i've read how subtle it is, i was - maybe - able to pick up on some subtleties? LOL to say it is a visually stunning film in the ultimate understatement. i feel like i've just come back from hanging rock! the music was beautiful. i'd like to have the soundtrack. i can probably download it from youtube.

i'm already starting to get sore from up and down the attic steps. i will regain my stamina - i will!!!!! the christmas decorations were in the front bedroom - NOT still up LOL

i think i'm going to tackle the front porch tomorrow - at least get it blown and swept off. i want it tidier and less cluttered - said the clutter queen LOL that's going to be - i hope - my spring project - washing down the front walls and stripping and painting the front door. i enjoy outside projects.

i too sleep with a fan on in my bedroom in the spring, summer and fall. it's an old black westinghouse fan that was my grandmothers. it's the old fashioned kind that has the brass blades and only a few wires to keep fingers away - no wire mesh. i love it! i have another one similar to it in silver but not nearly as old. i love how they turn and blow the pages of a book. in the deep south, keeping air moving in the heat is an absolute must.

now i'm going to google picnic at hanging rock to see what - if any - new information has ever come to light as to what happened to the girls and their teacher who never returned.

keeper put himself to bed about 2 hours ago - pony is lying on the floor in front of me. the fire is dying out.

i've had the most lovely, happy day. i hope your tomorrow is the best.

So do I!!! I have slept with my fan ON all of my adult life, and I use it during all 4 seasons!!! AND WE HAVE CENTRAL AIR AND HEAT...tEE HEE!!!

When my electricity goes off, I am the first to know it, because the fan kicking off wakes me up and I just can't go back to sleep...

So, I get up in the "middle" of the night fumbling around for lighters, candles, and our kerosene lamp!!!

I get in contact with my "electric company" asap...

I have even gotten UP in the middle of the night and drove out to check out our VERY small town, since I just want to see some type of lighting, somewhere...LOL

I must say that I have found it in "total" darkness, on more than one occasion!!! Tee Hee!!!

I stay up all night, if I have to, because I just CAN'T sleep without my fan running... ;)

I have used this "expression" more than once in my lifetime!!! This is a very "common" saying amongst us hillbillies!!! Tee Hee!!!

I can just see you telling your boss that one...These postings are soooooo funny, in a very "good way"....LOL!!!

ok i just googled "picnic at hanging rock". i THOUGHT it was based on fact - duhhhhhh. the movie is based on a novel that was fiction - duhhhhhh x infinity LOL at me

what i meant was that i like the way the fans oscilate. the fan must blow on me. i love that feeling!!!!!

Hey can't dance,
Mine is an "oscillating fan" too!!! I do turn this fan towards me during the summer months, but not in the winter :D ;) :)!!!

I pray you have a great day filled with much sunshine, joy and laughter!!! Love, Cloie

BTW: Have you ever heard of "white noise"...I think we are addicted to it!!! At least, that is what I think it is called...LOL..

Ok. There you have it. Sleeping with the fan on is a popular thing to do. I've done it since I was a kid. It jacks up the electric bill a bit, but a good night's sleep is worth it.

Today is a beautiful day ! The sun is shining and I'm heading out to the county to visit some relatives. They have a couple of acres full of maple trees. The maple syrup is running like a tap ! There's a bucket hanging off of each one. They'll have a huge supply this year. I can't wait ! Bring on the pancakes and sausage !!!!!! What's more Canadian than that !?!?!?!?!?!?

i'm not familiar - other than in novels - with tapping trees but it must be fun. strange how i know they do that in the northern states but i never thought about canada?

today was front porch day. while it never did get as warm as predicted, at least i didn't sweat! it looks so much better. at least it's been blown off, swept, ivy has been rerouted, etc. it too was so cluttered i couldn't stand it.

this clutter thing i have going on is really something. years ago a friend of mine was going to group therapy. a woman was talking about how she was always cleaning, rearranging furniture, etc. my friend spoke up saying "that's a sign of being unhappy inside." the woman started crying. i would still be calling that woman daily and apologizing - really! LOL

i don't think this need i'm going through with clearing out clutter has anything to do with me being unhappy inside - although i am both dizzy and depressed/sad. i think it's my taking charge/control over things i can change!

one of the reasons i so liked the movie "civic duty" was because the apartment the couple lived in was so perfect. no clutter - perfect fung shui. LOL

i'm going with mama first thing in the morning for her to have her six month blood work done. i'll drop my car by my mechanic's for that scan thing on the way. the more i think about it, investing in a new car right now makes no sense. i haul around 2 big dogs a lot of the time. why buy something that's going to get beat to death in no time at all.? maybe whatever's wrong with my car is an easy, not expensive fix? that's what i'm hoping anyway!

so how was your day in the country?
