no you did NOT mention that you'd taken a bad fall!!!! hyperextending an arm and leg can be very painful - sometimes it takes a long time for the hyperextension to UNhurt. what started hurting so badly on your walk today? i have a good friend who's a physical therapist. she always tells me to ice first - then apply heat - alternate the two. of course, you've already been ON the ice!!!!!

i'm glad you had a good day at work with no nonsense. and you left work yet again with a smile on your face - you ARE my hero!!!!!

do take care of yourself. i want/expect LOL a daily report on how you're feeling physically!!!!

have a great tomorrow! and as always, party like a rock star while singing dream weaver LOL x forever

It happened shortly after I made the comment to you about popping a hip ! LOL (no joke !!!!)

When I stand up, it hurts right where the leg bone meets the hip and down the outside of the leg near the top. It's ok once I move around. I think I just did too much on it after work. I don't think that having a "sit down job" helps much. I need to remember to get up and walk around every hour. My leg will stiffen up and it takes a bit for it to get back to normal. It'll be ok. I just have to take it easy walking. I won't push myself until it's completely healed. You're right. I already did the ice thing ! LOL (smart a** LOLOLOL). Now all I need is some heat ! Well it'll be summer soon ! LOL. I'll get some of those icee/hot packs from the drug store. They work very well.
I did this to my leg and arm after I was done my riverwalk. My arm is ok now. It's just my leg. Tonight I just did the neighbourhood walk. The neighbourhood walk only takes an hour. The riverwalk is 2 hours.

I will make sure to get well ! That will be priority # 1.....well that and rocking every day !

Hi Karma!....Your story about lunch was awesome! I'm so sorry you have been down. I know exactly what you mean about sinus problems bothering your ears-I've had this issue for years and have it right now, are you sure we're not related!?! The last few days I have been "blue" also. I can hear my heartbeat in my ears from the fluid pressure , I have been lightheaded, dizzy and had blurry vision. SO...I run into a lady I know and she has just had surgery because her vision was blurry and they found out she had a clogged artery in her neck! Then I read an article about a woman whose vision was blurry and she had extremely high blood pressure! The next day my Dad told me he had a nightmare about a demon trying to give him a stroke! Now, guess where my mind has been going!!?! So far I have been able to fight this using suggestions from this program (I have been checking my blood pressure, though!). It's just so frustrating that everything I see or hear sends me into such a tailspin. Anyway, I hope you will feel better soon-with your personality, I know you will!
Man of Music....I am soooo sorry about your fall! My husband is a football coach and when a player has a hyperextension their trainer says use the RICE method(rest, ice, compression, elevation). As Karma said, you've already been iced!, I'm not sure how you could compress or elevate your whole body, maybe REST would be good! I'm sorry this is not very helpful, is it? I do hope you feel better!
Hi Ms. T-bones! It's so great to see you (read you)! Everyone have a wonderful day!

BTW: Man of Music.... I forgot to mention they also have a whirlpool they can get in for rehab, maybe you could look for one of those! HA!HA!

Hi can't dance,
I have those same type of ear problems...LOL

I can feel pressure behind my ear drums and hear my heartbeat in my ears a whole lot!!!

My physician says that I have "fluid" in behind my ear drums!!!

I have had this problem, on and off for years!!!

I do have "liquidized" ears, so I am sure that is what is wrong with all of us...Tee Hee!!!

Just had to throw this one in here, since I think it is very strange that so many of us have these "sinus and inner ear" problems!!!

Hey manofmusic,
Thanks for the "thumbs" up!!! This is becoming waaay too funny for me!!!

Sorry your leg is bothering you!!! I would hate for you to have to "hip-hop" into work tomorrow!!!

All jokes aside, I pray that your pain eases off very soon!!!

I am heading for bed!!! Hope to "read" some more tomorrow!!! Goodnight to all!!!

a dime to a dollar you pulled your back when you fell. the pain in your leg is probably coming from your back. case in point. the last time i walked the boys - separately - 2 miles each - they pulled me all over the place. i developed a pain in my upper right thigh that when it would hit would make my knee buckle - and i'd made this sound i'd have smacked mama for making LOL i went by a friend's house who's a physical therapist - showed her where the pain was - she said you've pulled your back. then she felt a bit below my waist and down my back and said i had golf ball knots from the yanking(s).

what helps me is gentle stretching - very gentle yoga. again, that kind of yoga is wonderful for stress/tension relief. afterward, you just feel SO good!!!!

this morning i figured out WHY i was so sad yesterday. tuesday morning i woke up at 7:20 instead of 6:15. why? a storm in the night knocked out the power and the alarm didn't go off. i was hurrying to get ready for work and MISSED taking my meds. this morning when i reached for the pill organizer thing i saw where tuesday's meds were still there. i knew it was wednesday because "the office" had been on tbs last night for 3 hours. that's how i tell my nights LOLOL

i take lexapro every day. who would have thought that missing 1 daily dose could make a difference? evidently it doesn't store at all in my body. and further, obviously i have NO seratonin or whatever!!!! to the question "do i have a chemical imbalance?" yes i surely do. it's the program and medication that enable me to live a quality life!

today i felt as right as rain - line borrowed from "young frankenstein" LOL

work was work - nothing more and nothing less. again, i was the lizard queen - something i'm evolving into an art LOLOLl

don't you love it when you have a problem and others tell you horror stories? it's a personal favorite of mine LOL

i've had 2 friends who've had their neck arteries cleaned (or whatever it's called) and had no problems during or afterward!

right now i'm dizzy. this weather is making my ears go nuts. it's cold and rainy one day - low 60s and sunny the next. the wind has been something else too!

a good medicine i found is mucinex (blue). absolutely NO side effects. of course, given my pill phobia, just to start using it i had to cut it in little pieces to ensure it was safe - sighhhhhh LOL and i was assured by the pharamcy it wouldn't interact with anything else - blah blah blah. oh the questions i ask LOL

i will also make warm salf water and snort it from a spoon - one nostril at a time. it's not pretty but i live alone LOL x forever

it does appear we're living parallel lives in the south. it's actually pretty cool!!!!

a lady i work with was having the heart beat thing going on in her ears the other day. i meant to ask her if it's still going on!

there's just nothing like being dizzy is there?

last may, my sister was having a terrible time with dizziness and took some 20+ kids to a disco skating rink for her daughter's birthday party. my poor sister!!!! i don't know how she made it through the skate party then the party at her house!!!! can you imagine all that loud music and flashing lights when you're already sick with being dizzy and having panic at the same time?!?!?!?!

what can i say - my sister is a true rock star!!!!
