Hello,
Is any one clinical out there? If so can you please explain what EKG "T" waves are and what does it mean when there is a abnormality with the "T" waves?
My cardiologist said he compared my EKG from September to the one that was done this past week, and he said there were no significant changes.
However, my Primary Care doctor and my Gastro doctor viewed the most recent EKG and felt that it was not normal looking. To quote my Gastrologist's comment she said and I quote " That is one funky looking EKG and I would not consider that to be normal". Nice huh??? That was real comforting. :(

Then the Primary Care doctors response was" This is not in my field of medicine but if the Cardiologist says it's ok, then I am fine with that". Another helpful medical comment. :(
So... what is one to think???? :?
I have an appointment with a Electro Cardiologist this coming Wednesday. So hopefully, he will be able to make some clarification.

If any one is familiar with "T" waves, please explain.

Thanks!!!
Kim

I wish I knew what to tell you.I am not familiar with medical lingo. But I can tell you
that I think your Dr's could be a little more
professional and could use a refresher course
in "bedside manner"..Yikes!
In most cases when things are extremly dangerous and alarming you see a DR ASAP. Like that day! So maybe the old adage. "no news is good news" should be considered here?
I wouldn't worry about it.
;)
