mama tries to wedge the cart between me and the counter when i'm checking out. she's afraid they won't have a cart available to put the groceries in - despite there being 105 carts all over the place - sigh LOL it makes me crazy - once a week LOLOL

you're life sounds wonderful. friends and family dropping by - sharing your lives. children and dogs running around complete the picture!

while i have bragged to the nth degree and then some about how low my gas and electric bills were the past 2 months - none of my friend will come off what they paid. but then again, they have children LOL child services would be knocking on their door if they weathered the cold in their house like i do here LOL

you're in kentucky, aren't you? i have an aunt and uncle who just got in this afternoon from kentucky for a few days. it's mama's brother so she's beyond excited! i'll see them tomorrow night for dinner.

now i must find whatever it is i'm wearing tomorrow for work - i can't take 2 days in a row of a dreaded sweater mistake!!!!!

Karma
can I jump in here with a movie recommendation?
We just got Netflix again (LOVE LOVE LOVE) and one of our first movies was The Soloist, with Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. I think it was such an amazing movie. I know it's not everyones cup of tea but I was so moved by it. Have you seen it? Also I am a fan of Mystery Science Theatre 3K and I see that they have so many of their movies and I can't wait to get thru that list.
Anyway how do you go about that being in a crowd and not getting that phobic feeling? Gosh I wish I could come and go and stay in my little invisible bubble and be okay ;)
I did go eat alone once and it wasn't an anxious moment at all but I was bored. It seems like going out is meant to be fun in my noggin haha . "pass the breadsticks, Pass me the parmesan" "Cheers" and all that jazz.I will have to keep the book idea in mind next time I feel like going solo at my fav eatery. ;)

Hi Karma! I just wanted to say I wasn't bored at all with your discussion about drawers (furniture drawers, that is) because I am having the same issue with my whole house! Do you think it has something to do with stress/anxiety/depression? I was just thinking that up until about about 5 yrs. ago I had some mess, but it was organized mess. That's about when I started having panic attacks and major depression. Now I just have out-of-control clutter everywhere! It really makes me more depressed but I feel overwhelmed every time I try to deal with it. Oh well, it could be that I'm just lazy! I am also having sympathy for you running late--I don't think I've ever been anywhere on time. There's always tomorrow-it could happen! Man of Music... I was so tickled that you got my Serious Business reference, I really didn't think anyone would! I have to say that I am completely in awe of the way you handle your work stress. I wish I could learn to to be that smooth! Mrs T.- I am sitting here now in front of my roaring fireplace admiring your attitude,too-hoping I will get to that point. All of you on this site inspire me! Isn't it awesome that even though we share some bad traits we all enjoy some of the the same good things, too. Have a wonderful, blessed day tomorrow!

Oops! I'm sorry, I meant to say Ms. T-bones, not Mrs. T. My son is dyslexic, maybe he got it from me!

Ms T Bones ! - I still need to tackle the mall. That's one of the things I want to do before I die....which will probably happen at the mall.

Manofmusic, this is hilarious!!! I guarantee you, that you will never die at a mall!!! Chances are that you would die quicker from taking vitamins....Too funny for me, since I thought the same way for 21 years of my life, and I do know exactly how you feel about those malls...Tee Hee!!!

You guys are doing such a great job on here...Keep the ball a bouncing ;)!!!

Remember when I said that I worry for nothing ? Well, it happened again ! LOL Work went so smooth today. The second job ran smooth and it's now in production. One more to go on Tuesday, and I don't have to go through that again until May when more jobs go for a tryout.
It never fails that I waste a few perfectly good days thinking about work. Now I can truly relax because the last job to be run is a simple job.

So tonight, I'm going to kick back, slip on a set of headphones and get lost in some tunes ! I deserve it.

How was everyone else's day ?
