Hi Folks! I have been struggling with anxiety since 2006. I came a long way on facing this obstacle. My anxiety is not as bad as it way before. And at times, I would have a relapse but I managed to work my way through them.

Has anyone ever felt the sense of an anxious episode when saying or thinking about a certain thing?

That actually helps me figure out what may be the trigger. So, I wonder if you all experienced it from that nature.

beachgurl22....I know exactly what you're talking about. I think the OCD side of us manifests itself in exactly this way. We that are afflicted with anxiety obsess about even the littlest things or the most minor happening. We're just wired this way! It's horrible being in the anxiety cycle. We just need to keep working on our coping skills. Breathe deep and focus on the positive. :)

I understand what you're saying.

My main irritation is being lightheaded. I usually have it 24/7 to some degree.

One day I was having a complete "no lightheadness" day. I was balanced and feeling great........until I thought of a bill that I was concerned about. All of a sudden, the lightheadness came back.

I think my main trigger is bills and finances. For some reason, although my children are grown, I still feel responsible for everything. Even after my oldest daughter moved out, I was still concerned about what she needed.

I think it's guilt. I think that I feel guilty because I wasn't financially stable when they were young. I divorced my ex-husband when they were young, and I had to take care of them on my own. I was going through my worst bouts with anxiety, so I was only able to do so much.

We had what we needed, and more. But they didn't have what all of the other kids had. They let me know, and I felt guilty.

Okay, enough ranting now. Haha!
