Hi. I just began the program last week and I'm on Session 2 now. I find the Relaxation CD really soothing and helps me fall asleep, so I only listen to it at night now. :) So much of what's in the guidebook and the audio and video seesions really speak to my past experiences. I'm so relieved that my symptoms aren't so strange as I thought they were. At least now I realize that I'm not the only one suffering with anxiety and avoidance of situations that cause it. Whew!

The best thing about the program for me was to learn that I wasn't alone. It did wonders for me!

Hello everyone. I just wanted to say I am new to all of this.I am so glad that I am not alone with Anxenty @ Depresion . Plus there is support out there ...

Hi guys :) Just here to tell you this program worked for me. You are on the correct path, just make sure you follow the program. I know it will work for you, like it did me.

Just started this program. I find it a bit confusing. So many dvd's and I'm not sure if I'm following it right. Been at it for about 5 days and find myself more anxious than ever. Did this happen to you?

Hello! I too started the program last week and seem more anxious than ever! I am reading the posts for the first time and some are saying it works wonders and some are saying opposite. I don't know what to think...

Collette, I do remeber having alot of anxiety right at the beginning. I dont remember at what lesson, but they say something about starting a journal and writing down negative thoughts etc. I look back at it now and see that I was in a pretty dark place. As I look through the journal, I progressively got better. The negative thought replacement is one that really helped me...I think I took an extra week on it to try to get it fully.
Anxious11...what i've found is that people that have an open mind about the program and trust that it will work is a big key. As you probably know, alot of people dont give things a chance. I think (my opinion) that the people it doesnt work for, go in thinking it wont work for them and continue to tell themselves and others it wont work and it doesnt.
I definately had mountainouse ups and downs before and through parts of the program, and even now, I still get stressed...Looking back at my journal, I've learned that I am alot more even killed now...not so affected by things that use to freak me out.
It didnt happen for me overnight, but as time goes on, you'll get better and better...You'll learn to like yourself more and you'll gradually get stronger. It'll happen.
