I can't sort out all these symptoms and I feel like I am going under.

irregular heart beats with position changes, palpitations in the middle of the night,
shortness of breath with any exertion (like 3 stair steps, or standing up more than 15 - 30 minutes),
headaches,
dizziness,
waves of extreme exhaustion that last hours,
muscle weakness,
tremors in my left hand,
multiple and constant joint and muscle pains,
poor sleep,
blurred vision
anxiety and possible depression
feel cold all the time,
many dental problems,
sinus pain,
OB/GYN wants to do a D&C to check for uterine cancer, history of thick walls on ultrasound, polyps and heavy bleeding
Hashimotos Thyroiditis,
Mitral Valve Prolapse,
constant thirst and dry mouth and eyes,
eating salt helps my heart slow down

I am at the end of my rope. I don't know where to turn. I can hardly function. The waves of anxiety and weakness are overwhelming me. I am utterly exhausted.

Geneva - Your symptoms sound similar to what I have been experiencing for several months. Have you talked to your doctor about this ? My doctor diagnosed me with Adrenal Fatigue. I researched this on www.adrenalfatigue.org. I also read a book called "Adrenal Fatigue-the 21st Century Syndrome" by Dr. James Wilson. I urge you to talk to your doctor about this . With my doctors help, I'm getting better. I hope you get some relief. I know how miserable it can be.

What are you doing to treat it? My doctor doesn't believe in Adrenal Fatigue, so he is no help. I have looked into it before but all the alternatives I have tried don't help or make me worse.

Believe it or not... These are ALL classic symptoms of Anxiety. I believe in this program wholeheartedly. I have to admit, when I first completed the program a couple of years ago, I felt like learning to change my negative attitude into positive, changing my diet, and practicing relaxation, etc. would not relieve my symptoms... That I was the worst and my symptoms needed a heavy dose of some great medication to help me. It is soooo extremely true what Lucinda says in lesson 3: Our thoughts are what makes us sick and cause these body symptoms. There is another book by Claire Weeks called "Peace from nervous suffering" and it methodically lists the explanation for each and every symptom of anxiety. I strongly urge you to get it!! This book along with the program have helped me recover from panic disorder. When I am stressed and I start to feel those old familiar anxious feelings, I am able to put my coping skills to use and avoid having a panic attack. I am so grateful to God and to Lucinda for the help in overcoming this dreaded condition!!!

It is SO hard to be patient when you feel hopeless and at the bottom of a deep deep hole. It is very hard for me to really believe that all these things stem from anxiety. It is hard for me to even track my thoughts right now, let alone change them. I'm listening to week one CD this every day this week. I'm just trying to convince myself that there is hope.
