I have a new symptom that just started, and its really scaring me alot, I'm afraid to go to bed a nite, not to go to sleep, but like i am going to be attaked or someone is going to break into my apartment and hurt me, I listen to all the noises and I lay awake half the nite doing that, then the next day I have a hard time concentrating, I feel like I am losing my mind..

Hi Monalisa,
These type of fears are called external fears or (phobias)!!! I think you need to question yourself about your childhood, or earlier years of your life!!!

Maybe something happened in your lifetime, that caused you to develop these new fears!!!

It could have been in your childhood years and you have pushed these fears into your subconscious mind, and they may be manifesting themselves now!!!

I am sure these new fears are unfounded, and esteem from something which did happen in your past, or they could be a cover-up for things, which you do not want to deal with in the present, since, our fears come in layers and there is a bottom line to each of them!!!

You are going to be just fine!!! Just trust in God that you are safe and secure!!!

Replace those "scary" thoughts with thoughts, which make you feel warm, safe and secure!!!

I will remember you in prayer!!! May God bless you on your journey to recovery!!!

BTW: You are not losing your mind!!! You have a healthy mind!!!

Thanks Genny/Michael... I just wish my original post you found inspirational was still here??? I don't have time to do it now but I will try and find it and re-post it here later in hopes of helping others. Bottom line is that CBT and the TEA form can turn your life around :D
