Hi everyone,
I am beginning my Session 2. I know that the hardest part was actually getting the dvd's and start working towards getting better. I began to feel better but now I feel down and alittle discourged. How do i get that positive feeling of change back? Is it normal to feel this way? Advice Please.

Hi Aubrie, I too am on week two and discouraged with the computer. I can not figure how to get my story to stay on the screen.

Hey, yes those feelings of discouragement will come across many times but you can't give into them. They are feelings created by thoughts. Most likely coming from some kind of expectation. Perhaps you aren't moving as fast as you'd like. Or telling yourself this is not working or it's impossible. There is some kind of thought behind it. Try to figure out what you were thinking before getting that thought. You may have to be patent before getting it.

Also, are you giving yourself credit for what you're doing? Even a simple "I did it!" helps.

I just started this program and I already know it will be hard for me not to rush the sessions.

Hello. i just started this program 3 days ago. i am trying to stay positive also and see what happens. I am hoping it works. but i know i have to be patient i have had my anxiety for a while now and i know its not going to go away over night but i am looking forward to the next session and things i can learn to help me get better. The relaxation cd so far i think helps me sleep better. so it is a start! :)
