Should a man hold the door open for a woman?

Post by kar » Tue May 07, 2013 7:27 am

Hi, I went to Barnes and Noble yesterday with my brother and just as we got to the front door a woman was coming out, I opened the door but she made some type of disaproving gesture and walked away really fast. I felt down and mad because I felt I got rejected by the opposite sex, an hour or so later I asked my brother that if he had thought about the woman, he said "no' and said the reason I was still thinking about it is because I'm not married. I think maybe it has to do with low self esteem. Why do you guys think I felt down? Should I just stop being a gentleman? I mean maybe being a gentleman is just some old idea out of date in todays society.

It depends on the woman. Don't worry about it. :?:
