Hi Jon--Well, you are ahead of me on listening to the relaxation CD. I've listened to all of them that I have possession of, but I'm waiting for an alone time to listen to the relaxation CD.
I do have other relaxation CDs and have listened to them, but not recently. I'll have to learn more about the Good Days Pill you are talking about. I have only read a little bit about them as they are a Brand Name for a vitamin, is this correct?
Glad to meet you and I'll be checking back in with you.

I really like the relaxing CD. It reminds me of a walk around our farm--down by the stream, the winding path, sitting in the long grass by the waterfall (dam), etc. Very appros. I'm going to take some photos of my version of the walk so I can picture what the relaxation CD is saying.
My main reaction to Session One: it fits me fairly well. The breathing exercise really works on me! 35% of Exercise 1 apply to me. 60% of Exercise two hit me hard. Those workbook exercises give me good places to start attacking my stinkin' thinkin.
The parts of Session One that don't fit -- most of it! My Stress and Anxiety is being caused by the fact that I'm on my way to State Prison, and that isn't listed as a cause of stress or anxiety! Google "surviving jail" and you'll see what I mean.

Hi Jon--Well, some of my CDs were made by my former Psychologist which I believe he read from a book. :p He makes good money doing that!
So now I don't want to listen to them as I will hear his voice.

Maybe later...I can listen to them. Anyway, I've gone through all CDs or Sessions. I'm lacking in Session 7 CD, but I bought the book From Panic to Power by Lucinda, so that has filled me in on what I'm missing. Plus I bought some other books at the same time on anxiety and panic which are helpful.
I would say the CDs are helping as I haven't had a panic attack since July and my anxiety is going down, I'm weaning off of Remeron and I'm not needing to take any Xanax. Its Christmas Time and I'm doing pretty darn good, considering that its cold outside and the days are short.
So I would have to say the Program is working!

Paislee Thanks for the compliment on my name. I like your pic. DS does that or use to.

Hi Jon--My son would love to go to Moab. I've been there as a kid. Big Crawlers, wow! I've watched some of the videos of the 4wheelers climbing those hills. Pretty Scary...

I forgot to add that I haven't finished the book...it is really good and looking forward to reading more after Christmas Celebrations are over.

Hi Paisleegreen,
The three months I've been waiting on the court system to process me has been "interesting." I had no idea there were so many court hearings: Formal charges against me, Bail Bond hearing, Plea Bargain Hearing, Sentencing Hearing, etc. I'm not officially a convict yet and I'm out on bail... waiting... waiting... waiting. And each time there is a hearing announced, the two local newspapers smear my case across the front page (small towns!) with all the horrible charges against me and such. Extremely stressing.
I thought "knowledge is power," and I endeavored to prepare for jail by googling "survive jail" on YouTube. Big mistake! The results I found on there stressed me to the extreme! At least I feel better prepared for my time there, and I'm going to do my best to learn and grow into being a better citizen.
I'm only on Session 2 right now, but already I've found that The Stress Center program has been very helpful. It's going to be an "interesting" experience--I know that for sure. I feel much more positive about Jail or Prison than I did before when I was in the lock up for two hours (that seemed like two months!) I've Googled lots of info on state prisons and feel pretty ok about things. God bless as you work thru your issues!
