Hello,
While I am new to all of this, and have not even rec'd CD yet, I did receive email to interact. And boy do I need to interact. I took the self assesement, can't say I was surprised, but didn't realize how severe some things were.
Well I look forward to fumbling around this website and chating with you all. Hopefully this will help me to get on with life without having the fear of saying what needs to be said and not worring about any transgretions. I need to get my head on straight so I can live like I want and need to. So any suggestions, would be great. So off I go hopefully not fumbling too hard!

Welcome workingfool.

Just jump in and ask whatever questions you need answered. There are lots of people that can help you until your program comes. Feel free to comment too. People often ask questions you don't need the program to answer.

Take care. DeeDee.

Does anyone have problems with confrontation. I need to stop keeping it all in and say what needs to be said, because obviously no one can read my mind. Just wanted to know if this program can help with the "talking" issue.

Thanks

Hi workingfool.

It definitely does help with that. In your kit you will have a cd called assetive behavior. This is exactly what need. A lot of people with anxiety have this problem.

Workingfool, you are going to be fine. This program is so right for you.

DeeDee.

hey workingfool
I got the program in Dec. but didn't actually start until the other day. The assertiveness thing caught my ear and i have more or less the same problem. Probably an insecurity thing but if you'd like to kind of go through this together, it sure wouldn't bother me a bit.

Hey charlie, maybe we could bounce ideas off each other. While I always can think of things to say at a later date. Not of course at the confrontation time, but that doesn't help. The moment was gone. NOw I need to find my voice!! How about you?

I'm a newbie here, too! My husband and I went to a seminar last week where the fellow had been through the program. I would have probably walked away without buying, but my husband said he'd been looking for something like this for me for a while. So he bought the program for me. I'm anxious (of course I'm anxious! that's why I have the program! haha) to get started. I'm waiting until Monday (procrastinating? another reason I'm here!) so I can start each new session at the beginning of a week.
