Hi Tommea
You are not alone. There are so many that suffer with insomnia right along with their anxiety. It is very common. Do you have the program. Have you started it? I truly believe in the program. It has made a huge difference in my life. I also have had insomnia with my anxiety, have a hard time sleeping but it is getting better. I listen to the relaxation tape when I go to bed, it seems to help me, I also take something to sleep right now. I hope in the days ahead I won't have to take anything anymore. I wish you the very best on your journey to recovery and know that you are not the only one who has this trouble of your mind not turning off and having sleepless nights.
I wish you well.

Hi Tommea,
a few of us have been talking about this.

For all of us it is stress/anxiety related. I personally know how difficult it can be to work on very little sleep. Take a look a the link and I hope you have or will start the program. All the best for a good rest tonight.

I am the same way. Don't feel bad, find distractions from the wandering mind.

I am going through insomnia now. It is a new symptom for me with my anxiety. I initially fall asleep, but wake up an hour later and then usually 3 more times a night. Some times I would be exhausted, but lay in bed for hours wishing I would fall asleep.
It has gotten better. I have been going through the program again. The breathing and clearing my head at night has helped.
