I don't get to talk to many people with depression and anxiety too often. I can only speak from my own experiences that i'm not as sharp as i used to be. I often feel spaced out and try and shake it off and think of something positive. I definitly feel more spacey that I'm on lexapro then before. Ss this feeling because of depression/anxiety or more from the meds? Does anyone else experience this problem??

It might be the meds. I am in Session 4 of the program now. I'm deliberately not taking any meds, but felt really forgetful when I was taking Paxil in the past. Kayzee

Hunter75,

it is not uncommon to experiece feelings of spaceyness or even feelings of unreality and/or depersonalization while being on an SSRI.

Remember, meds are a personal choice. If something bothers you too much, talk to your doctor!

For the short time I was on Paxil, I actually drove through a red light!!!! The zone was NOT for me!

Do what's best for YOU!
