I take 25 mg of time released paxil each day. Been on it for about 5 years now. I take it for anxiety and depression. It worked well in the begining and I felt great. This past year I have noticed that it gets harder to fight off those feelings of worry and anxiety. My wife has noticed it also. I don't mind the medication and it has become a part of my daily routine. I often wonder if you build up a tolerance of the medication at some point. I have purchased the the program program last night after looking at the site about 50 times. My hope is that between the two I can stop this crazy ride I feel like I am on.

This is my first post and I am glad to know that you aren't alone in this.

Welcome to the forum. No your not alone, not even close. If you do choose to share what you are goin through with those around you you might be surprised how common this is. Sorry the Paxil isn't doing it for you anymore, Paxil was just the wrong drug for me. Before you start believing that the drug is failing you, remember that Paxil is just one tool. You will, if you choose to, learn about dozens of other tools that can be just as powerful.

I think you will find the the program program very helpful. Stick with it, take it seriously, and be patient with yourself! It may not be that you have built up a tolerance or something to the medication...it just could be that your negative thinking has gotten stronger over the past five years. The program has helped many of us. Hang in there.

Thanks for your kind words. I got the jump start and have watched the short videos more than once. Can't wait for the program now so I can get really started.
