Does anyone else have issues with taking cold/allergy meds? They seem to make me more anxious and jittery which really makes me nervous. So I usually avoid taking them, I am coming down with something and thinking about taking claritin to help dry it up.

Claritin definately messes me up too.. I have found that a childs dose of dimetapp cold and allergy helps my cold symptoms without making me nervous.

i have seasonal allergies and i was told by a pharmacist that most allergy or cold medications do not effect on anxiety medications. When I take claritin i do not feel any side effects but everyone is different. So if you don't like taking these medications because of the side effects then you don't have to. you should stay away from these meds if they are doing that. i hope this helps.

I’ve never had any negative effects from Claritin or Claritin D.
